Which small gauge is most accurate?

Some people argue that Edgun digital guage is the most accurate of all.

My only concern is that although digital guage can give digital numbers yet as it gathers the pressure in the gun through similar pressure sensors as are used in non digital guage, it may be only as much accurate as any other non digital guage may be.

However as there is no needle mechanism to move and show the pressure in digital guage , it may overcome some of the issues of small mechanical gauges.

On the other hand I understand that large sized professional gauges with needle for reading pressure are still more accurate and more reliable than edgun or any other small digital guage.

Please discuss.

is a number on a digital gauge easier to understand or is the dial gauge easier, I think the answer is digital

would the error on the dial gauge from reading were it is on the dial be more accurate , probably not till the gauge grew in size so you can easy see the markings on the gauge

so a small gauge, in digital would be as good as any dial gauge but as a dial gauge grows in size maybe not

and one factor that has not been addressed is the cost of the gauge

any digital gauge if small would have to be tested against a known pressure to see if it is telling you the truth but I think in PCP air guns it will be just fine
