Accurate ranging is foremost followed by a reticle that you can easily determine holdover. I’ve been using a Hawke Sidewinder 6-24X for years with good results. Why 6-24 when you can’t use it over 16X? The reticle is 20x instead of 10X.

Thank you, any tips on ranging please? I red some prefer to use “faster” scopes and use the degree how much the target is blurred to judge the distance, and some prefer smaller objectives to have sharp targets through the range.
