Which One? Personal Experience Required

I would look a 30 cal on the larger side of your targets. I've never hunted rock chuck , but I do know Coyote don't tend to pose long for head shots.

I have a standard power Red Wolf, and it is one of my favorites, a great rifle. My experience with FX is limited to two rifles. I had a Crown of the same generation as yours, didn't like it, and will not own another liner/sleeve barrel design. I have an old Royale 400, and it's a good rifle, not subject to the frailties of the complex current designs. I recommend the Red Wolf over any FX product. Just my opinion, and my wife says I'm always wrong.

I have 2 of the 3 you’re considering. Both my Impact and Red Wolf Safari are 25s not 22s. I have taken coyotes with both. That being said the big thing is if you’re going to be stationary most of the time or walking? With lots of walking then go with the Impact because of it being shorter. Mostly stationary the Red Wolf as I find it easier to be accurate and comfortable to shoot from a bench.

I have two impacts. I have a compact 22 and m3 30. Now I love Them the same. The compact is super lite easy to carry. The 30 puts a whopping. Both shoot slugs. Both lites out. 30 cal slugs are expensive. No problems with either one. 30 is noticeable louder. The 30 cal is a blast to shoot. Unopened soda cans make fun shooting with 30 cal.

My opinion The evol .22hps. I “had” the .22 standard and it was very accurate and super tough, reliable (no impact changes!)

I would go with the M3 in .30 cal. I have the MKII in .30 cal and it takes the GH down with ease. The AAA would be nice, but you can't do as much customizing and fiddling with it. I have the AAA .357 Slayer. I just like to punch things hard as one should, IMHO.

I've owned the Red Wolf HP in .22cal and currently have a MKII Impact in .25cal. I didn't like the length of the Red Wolf. Nice rifle otherwise.

Hunting I’d go impact. Unless you’re going to do what I do (which is to shoot off a bench (or tripod )). Then I’d go red wolf.

Having recently purchased a red wolf in 22 I’m totally impressed with the quality,and workmanship. If you would like something more compact, I would highly recommend the FX wildcat mklll. Mine is an amazing air rifle that does everything I ask of it. They are both a win win, it’s just which way do you want to win.

Get the FX Crown, more parts are easy to find, easy to repair very accrate

Daystate is not as accurate as some think after 50 yards

I am a lefty as well. I prefer the righthand setup even though I could make the Impact a lefty. With the super easy forward cocking it's not an issue and everything is on the right which is great like the gauges and mag. Speed shooting is a breeze as well though I am not into that. I guess the only dig would be if you squench up too far forward your chest might get into the mag slightly, but really has not been an issue for me with my scope (Titan).
