Which compressor ? My air suppliers closed down. No air supply?

So after 71 years my only place in town closed down that fills my big air hog tank. There might be a 1 other place in town but seems to be all the way over on the other side. I can get smaller air tanks that my sporting stores will fill but each tank is about $300 plus managing them. So some of my options.

1. Buy smaller air tanks get them filled, buy 4 other benjamin air tanks for $1200 to equal my airhog ? Fill one at a time....
2. Buy a compressor from prymid air , not sure which one ??
3. Sell airguns and buy FX indy airguns for self pumping....???
4. Sell all airguns buy 2 powder burners 22 and 22-250 and shoot accurate from 10 yards to 600 yards everytime......

Any help with buying a good air compressor for a reasonable amount that will hold up over time without being huge maintenance ?
There was a prymid air compressor for 1299, also a newer airforce compressor ?

Just my 2 cents worth but I started with a shoebox and had good luck with it but it was painfully slow. The new lines of cheap chinese compressors weren't out then so after a lot of sleepless nights thinking about this I bought an Airetex 45 and never looked back. It is a sizable investment but it took all of the nail biting out of having tanks filled at first and then waiting for the shoebox to fill a Guppy. The Airetex will fill my Great Whites from 0 to 4500 psi in 26 minutes flat. Just a thought.

this is ez,,, buy a compressor reasons ,1,you get to keep the pcps you like 2,,4 bottles is a waste of time and $$ .same cost as compressor and still need to find and pay for air,,3 bullets are exspensive ,4 you already have a nice tank use it ,,a couple of us bought AIR VENTURI compressors last summer and their great we have had no problems ,,ez set up add water and oil run 10 minutes drain oil refill off u go ezpz,,,things i will do to upgrade this soon is either add casters i belive the holes are already set up for this or what i really want to do is get a band saw stand $60 at harbour freight ,and mount 4 nuts and bolts this will get it 3 ft off the floor ,, all this is unessecary its just what i want ,,and add a longer fill hose ,,maybe a secondary drier ..it would be cool to go to a place to see how they rate maybe HAM has reviewed it, give it a peek,,i guess the best thing i can say is i would buy again in a minute, its pretty fast not the race car BADGERFARMS AIRTEX is good luck ..ps pm me and if you have ?s we can talk PAT

I bought the air venturi compressor last summer... my closest air source was 200 miles away and after my airgun addiction forced me to buy several pcp's lol i couldn't hand pump them all in a day.... this compressor has been fantastic, no problems, tops off a 74 cu ft tank in 15 minutes and fills my 12 cu ft pony bottle in 5 minutes... get one , you will not regret it

Shortly Crosman is coming out with a little compressor that's built just to charge the gun going to be five hundred bucks or so but it looks like a neat little deal if that's all you need
I went ahead and bought an a v compressor is working fine probably have 50 or 60 fills on it I have a little Club going that I fill tanks for other people so of course it's 1300 bucks

AOA has a 110v Daystate on the Pre-Owned right now for 1900.00. Would last you for a lifetime, are known to be trouble free and service and parts are available from many sources if needed. If you can swing having the $ tied up, I believe when it comes time to re-sell you would re-coop the majority of your investment. I had the Omega and then changed out to the Daystate T2. Would do it again. Just my opinion. Good Luck. Sylvan
