Wheres Ted Bier?

I suspect it’s a combination of things. Making videos takes time. Hunting videos open a person to criticism which likely gets old. The web allows the exchange of information which is wonderful . I struggle what I read on the internet. And I’m not posting on YouTube or in public forums . It’s hard to let stuff just slide and that could be part of it. Then again he just might be doing something different.
I think we all need to be kinder to each other and to disagree without being disagreeable. THAT is difficult because it not the nature of the human species.
An example. Gun rights. Nether side gives an inch and seems to be at all interested in even having a civil discussion. Reminds me of a contentious divorce. We have to live in the same world. We should be able to talk to people and calmly explain our opinions and to LISTEN. Ted was posting videos shooting birds I do it so I’m on his side BUT I fully understand that others find it offensive . Not everything is black and white . Make room for those see things differently. Hopefully he’ll find his way back. I enjoyed his work and I’m with him too.,

I'm with Ted. We all need to be kinder to each other. I really enjoyed his videos, and his pidgin recipe. I hope after a break he comes back. If you don't like hunting videos then don't watch them. I don't like Hallmark movies, so I don't watch them! If I'm forced to be in the room I put in earbuds and watch something on my phone or tablet. I don't go spewing bile at the actors, directors, etc.

It's a loss for us. He was like a caffeinated elf of airgun shooting. He genuinely loved the sport, and you could tell that. Ted if you are there man keep doing what you love, cuz them squirrels aren't gona leave Grandma's bird feeders alone.

Soooo true!

His love and enthusiasm for the hobby is so very real and infectious.

Wishing him nothing but the best!

Unfortunately anyone who is in the lime light for any length of time needs thick skin. It isn’t fair, but internet warriors will always have something bad to say. Could this also have something to do with his appearance on American airgunner? I never got to watch the competition, but I heard he did very well. With this kind of coverage, I’m sure the internet comments were much more than he’s normally used to. I hope he is just taking a break, and comes back stronger than ever! #imwithted

Hats off to Ted, I think I saw every one of his vids twice. He approached air guns like no one else at the time. He pioneered video recording, how many remember the old Casio vids with the constantly evolving mounts and scope adaptations? He's a multi talented guy, and a great spearfisherman. That skill is not too common for the land locked Lilly pad guys.

I agree. And some of the different tutorials he came up with, and invested $$ in just to get the lesson across. Perfect example was his presentation of shooting up hill at different angles. He used a drone with a target attached to it to do his show and tell.

Who else does that?

I remember this video - I learned so much from it.

Ted did a whole lot for the pcp air gun community. I for one got into them because of him. He’s definitely the best out there. When he makes his videos he injects a whole lot o other things into them making them so much more real. This crazy world today doesn’t have a clue what real is and even more clueless what reality is. We have the right to free speech and we have to fight for it not cancel people out for saying things they believe. Ted got railroaded because of the things I mentioned above. I stand with Ted and we need more of his kind. He should do a comeback video with his Edgun that would be the icing on the cake
