Wheres Ted Bier?

I think everyone that is in the public eye gets burned out with the whole of it eventually. They are torn between sponsor pressure and being truthful about products, making money, ,jockeying their time and priorities, other varying conflicts.

If it were me I'd step away too, at least a while for a break, until I felt like I was ready to go at it again.

Maybe Ted just wants to be Ted without all the product labels associated with him.

While on a waiting list for the original Leshiy back when it first came out, I watched a video of him talking about it. It’s the only video of his I ever watched. He was quick to point out all it’s shortcomings so I believed what he had to say. When I received it, he was dead on. That was quite a while ago so I don’t know what his whole situation evolved into. Maybe he flew too close to the sun. Either way, I liked the guy back then and in that video.

IF you feel the need to pass on negative things you only heard and did not witness from no more then 2 feet away. I suggest you apologize to Ted or anyone else you spoke ill of. Ted spent an immense amount of time helping anyone who would listen to his videos. And so have others. And then he was insulted and accused of being a ***** for gun manufactures. He made suggestions and they were incorporated without remuneration to him. They sent and lent him rifles to review and to critique. He spoke his thoughts to provide us with better rifles. Some folks seem to believe Ted owes them his time and energy and videos. He owes himself time to raise his children and provide a family life. Before His 1st was born he worked hard for the airgun community. He wanted all that we have now to come to fruition. If he "got" anything, he earned it! Time spent just editing all his videos would have made several nice vacations. SO I'M WITH TED ALSO!!! AND WITH THE REST OF YOU WHO ARE THANKFUL FOR THOSE WHO CONTRIBUTE THEIR TIME. My old man use to wonder if sometime spent lying in a muddy foxhole listening to rounds larger then small arms fire wouldn't provide a good reality check. My personal experience has proved that true. Bet I'm in trouble now.

It's almost like being followed around in school by a boy with a crush on you, not that there is anything wrong with that... Especially when he is so manly!

😘

Ted's video squirrel hunting in the snow is the reason I got into airguns. He also is/was one of the few that actually showed his misses, and didn't get crazy with outlandish distances. Plus, his reviews were always honest, sometimes to a fault, and I totally respect that. He single-handedly "made" Edgun here in the USA, for basically nothing. Sure he is associated with FX, I don't see the problem with that. Winning EBR in 2016 made FX a handsome profit I'm sure... and markedly increased their popularity. Ted is doing what Ted wants to do. I wouldn't doubt he got burned out on shooting airguns after so many years of dedicating that much time to the sport...
