Where to buy scope?

I bought my Leapers from Pyramyd Air. I bought my Hawke from Optics Planet where I also bought my binoculars. 

wyvern creations has very good scope prices but you need to know what you want. Hes not good at tech info on air guns

Like they said above pyramid air has a large amount of styles, sizes, and many different makers. Just like many other sites.

For airgun s Leapers is a great value, some models are more favored than others. The same holds true for other brands. PA has a nice selection, and fantastic customer support. The nice thing is if you don't like, or want to upgrade they are easy to trade or resell.

Hard to beat Pyramyd, their prices are not necessarily the lowest, but they have a 30-day warranty of their own on everything they sell. I'd steer clear of the cheaper Centerpoints, most folks like their 4-16x40 model. The Leapers/UTG scopes are pretty good values, my favorite is the 3-9x32. Everyone also seems to like the 3-9 Bug buster and the 3-12x44swat side focus(30mm tube). If at all possible I would try and find a local store where you can handle and look through them, or maybe find somewhere local where airgunners get together to shoot and ask if you can try out what they're using. If you'r set on Centerpoint, I believe Walmart carries them.
I have a Hawke Varmint 3-12x40 on my Marauder, very nice scope for around $200.

Agree that Pyramid has a good selection and excellent customer service. Have several Leapers and think they give great value for the money and excellent customer service as well. Lost the illumination turret cover off my Bug Buster and wrote to them to ask how I could order a replacement. A week later a new turret cover arrived in the mail; no charge! I like the compactness and light weight of the Bug Buster but the field of view is quite restrictive, so it's a trade-off. Really like the 3-12x44 SWAT much more in spite of the greater weight.

The Centerpoint sold at Walmart for $69 4x16x40 IR is a damn fine value and tends to be as good or better than most of the utg/leapers in terms of ruggedness. The glass quality seems very much equal in all other aspects. I really prefer the bsa contender for a cheap scope and usually buy from swfa. Midway also has a 6-24 tactical bsa that is exclusive at Midway for $130 and is simply a rebadged Mueller. If you want that much power, it is an excellent scope for the money.

If it is going on a springer try something airgun rated such as leapers UTG, Hawke (vantage) or the centerpoint AO. Make sure that the scopes have an adjustable parallax, either AO or SF. If it's not for a springer take a look at the BSA line of scopes, specially the tactical 6-24x44 which is a special from midway, I have one in my at44 and the optics are super clear, equally clear than a Hawke sidewinder IMO.

This is a very good scope for $130.00. I've owned a couple of them with no issues. Really good glass for the money. Reliable Turret adjustments.

I bought a firefield 3-12x40 mil dot for my discovery for 50 bucks and it is pretty clear for a cheap scope on 12 power. I shot 3 squirrel and a ton of sparrows and starlings today in 20 degree weather and rattling around in my gator it still holds up.
