Where Are You Getting Your .20 Caliber Ammo?

I sent H&N an email asking about the 11.42. They told me they had been having problems getting the tins to put them in and have sourced new tins that only hold 200 instead of 500. Said they will be starting to fill them soon but probably 3 months before we see them in the US. Not sure how true that is and I do not like the idea of 200 count tins, price will certainly be going up.

The last 2 places I knew of that had anything were Utah Airguns with the JSB 13.73's and AoA who had some of the Weihrauch branded versions they say are 13.3gr. Last time I checked, both now show sold out and when I asked AoA, the best answer he could give me was they were waiting for a container to clear Customs, no idea what it included and it would probably be at least a month before they'd even see it. I'm on the notify list at PA but it's been dead silence for close to 2 weeks now.

None of the usual retailers have anything and I even emailed Jeff at Trenier to find out he's no longer even carrying anything H&N, so for shooters who got their H&N fix at Trenier, they'll need a new source.

You could try a WTB ad in the Classifieds but shooters that have them may well not be willing to part with any considering retailers are clueless when they may have more.

This is the major deterrent for me getting a .20. I really wanted one back last spring when I ended up going with the .25. Even back then options were limited on who had any and limited choices on weights and brands. 

Not so much the lack of choices although there are, just seems like a bunch of shooters seem to have jumped on the bandwagon and what used to be fairly well stocked shelves are suddenly empty.

Is the .02 caliber difference juice worth the squeeze?

Any manufacturer of pellets based in the United States could really clean up on the market right now and established for themselves a permanent presence.

Most posts I used to see on the subject praised the Crosman .20 cal pellets as being as good as H&N or JSB back when they were still made. If true, Crosman had that established presence until for whatever reason they decided to jump ship and stop making them.

I'm sure I'm not the only one wishing for what you just said...a US based maker, churning out pellets right here in the States. 

I am more interested in where you found the 20 cal HW50 rifle recently, dealer or private seller??, I would love to have one,, got one in 22 cal

It started on GTA with someone mentioning it. AoA got asked, I guess said if they could get X amount of pre-orders, it was something they could do. At some point, they got enough, added however many they did to carry at AOA and placed the order. 

AoA still does have a listing for them but whether they'll order more or not, you'd have to call or email them and ask. Considered one myself but passed since I already have a custom built by Diana, #15 of only 30 made, D34K Premium in .20 caliber that fits that power spot in my gun list. Maybeee next time if there is a next time but I have a couple other rifles on the bucket list I want first and both of those also happen to be .20 cals...lol.

Thanks Jay, the AoA says out of stock for now, I will keep watching,, one will show up ,sooner or later,, all i really need is the barrel but I prefer to get a complete rifle
