Where are the maverick accessories?

I've yet to see the "slug tuning kit" that FX listed in their power figures, but you don't really need it, if you're resourceful and have no problems doing things yourself. The two things you can get right now are the Huma V2 barrel port and regulators which will allow a much higher set point. I've seen contrasting specs on those regs. Some say the high pressure Huma regs are rated at 135-210 bar, and I think Huma's site says 135-200 bar. Extra pressure is always a good thing, if going for big power. I feel like the guns can do what FX claims though.

So far, I got my .30 Compact up to 96 fpe with 160 bar reg setting and 63 grain slugs. That was with me modifying the factory barrel port and probe a little. Oh, and I changed out the hammer weight with one that was little heavier. The factory weight was 11.4g and the one I put in there is 13.4g, but I don't think it really needed it. I also just finished machining an Alfa Precisioin .177 barrel(635mm) and pin probe for it, and I got it up to 47 fpe with 24 grain slugs. I will be able to let you know what the power potential is in .22 and .30 with the 700mm barrels in a few days. I have the Huma regs and V2 barrel ports in route as well 😈 I'm very curious to see what that .30 can do with some more barrel, and maybe a little higher set point on the Huma regs.

As far as getting a Maverick goes, look everywhere! I got my .30 Compact a couple of weeks ago, and I didn't pre-order anything. I found somebody with one in stock, and jumped on it as soon as I saw it. Last I saw, Talon Tunes had a .177 with "extras", but they were charging an extra price for it too.

My son’s .25 Maverick. With just a dual port and modified probe added, this thing is a beast. Not a whole lot more needs to be done to get it shooting heavy projectiles accurately with plenty of velocity and energy! Great air guns!

Interesting that your .30 Maverick compact came with the 11.4g .25 hammer. My .30 MK3 Snipper came with the 13.4g and shoots the 44.75 @145bar / 98fpe with the Huma reg. My .22 Maverick sniper came with the 9g hammer.

I have the ER .30 dual TP to install soon as well. Have the ER .22 TP in the Maverick and it is fantastic. I will forgo any "FX pin probe" as I have tried them (Nielsen/FX) in the Impact. Not worth the pellet/slug hassle adjustments, just mod your current probe and it will be as good. Try the heavier hammer I say and adjust to your liking.

Enjoy.

When you say barrel kits, you realise any IMPACT type barrel will fit, the WILDCAT barrel kits should be interchangeable with the MAVERICK as well.

I realize the impact barrel kit will fit but then I need the probe and mag. Yeah the mk3 wildcat will even fit the maverick chassis. But I can’t find barrel kits for it either with prob and mag. I’ve got the huma dual port on my 30compact, but I’m wanting to swap to a 22 cal for the summer. I was wanting a 700mm barrel with slug liner Rowe transfer port and mag on my compact. It just seems like a lot of manufacturing is behind on everything right now.

So nowhere has WILDCAT MKIII .22 700mm kits in stock? the probe and mag are the same, you will need to swap out the liner whatever you get and mags dont come with barrel kits anyways, so a DREAMLINE or CROWN mag will do as they are all the same.

As far as a dual TP I wouldn't bother personally

No wildcat barrel kits that I’ve seen listed. I should probably call around.

Yep, I pulled it and weighed it, prior to making another one. It was 11.43 I believe. The one I put in there came out to 13.46, so I called it good. I guess they are shipping with caliber specific hammer weights in them then? On a side note, my power figures above are a little low. The FX gauges were reading higher than the actual pressure... I swapped out the second gauge with a Huma gauge that I know is correct, and it was about 20 bar lower than the FX gauge was saying. I just tested the .177 with the reg back where I thought it was before and it's slinging 24 grain slugs in the 970s now 😁 I've got to finish up the shroud I'm making in CF for the .177, before I test the other calibers for power again. My 700mm barrel kit just showed up too! I think I managed to steal the last one out there last week.

You asked for it, and this is where I'm at currently 😁 I tend to do all my chrony/tuning work indoors, so target time hasn't happened yet due to daylight time and weather. It will still be a few days, until I can get on target. This gun is a little regulated monster!

The Maverick is turning out to have some pretty good power with minor mods and tuning! I ordered the Huma "extra high pressure" regulators that are rated from 135-210 bar to install later. The Maverick uses the same reg as the Impact (x2), and Trenier had them in stock. That way, I can just keep the FX regs as backups, and not worry about running the gun at 170+ bar if I need an extra high power hunting tune. I can't wait to get some slugs on target either! It shoots the 15 gr NSA .177 over 1000 fps without even thinking about it. This is where that power wheel will be awesome, so I can test multiple weights covering a pretty wide range easily. The .177 is wearing an Alfa Precision 16.5" twist polygon that machined to fit the Maverick that is 635mm.

On the tuning side, I had to make my own probe for the .177 and it's a pin probe. The other mods to the gun are a 13.4G hammer weight(factory was 11.4). It can easily over power the valve, and I don't think it was really needed. Modified factory probes in .22 and .30. Huma barrel port in .22 and .30. Although, I don't think there was really any gain on the .30 from the modified factory barrel port. The only other thing I could do is go after the valve, which I may at some point down the road...

The official power peaks are as follows for my Maverick:
.177 - 50 fpe(24 grain Griffin slugs)
.22 - 76 fpe(35.2 grain cast slugs, near identical with JSB Beast 33.95g))
.30 - 123 fpe(63.2 grain cast slugs, near identical with NSA 61.5g)

I gotta say, FX wasn't lying about what the Maverick can do. It seems to me their power ratings are pretty much spot on, considering the minor mods I did to beat their power ratings. Oh, and I did get the .30 to 99 fpe in Compact form. Once I can verify the gun is accurate with the various calibers, I'll definitely call it a winner. The good part is I have the Superior Heavy liners in .22 and .30, so I feel pretty confident I'll have a slug that will work in each caliber. Unfortunately, the accuracy testing will have to wait a few days. I will get it done though.
