When did pellet prices go up?

I really shouldn't give out this juicy info but here it is. there is a guy in Canada that sells H&N pellets very cheap on eBay, he sells a lot of competition air gun equipment and supplies. it's the only place I have been able to find H&N Exite coppa-spitzkugel pellets in .25 for sale anywhere anymore it's my favorite pellet in .25 and they just stopped selling them in the U.S. For some reason anyway his seller name is nikkonos and shipping is only around $10 plus $1 for additional tins even when you factor that in to the overall prices it is still cheaper than anywhere else i have seen. He has the hole H&N lin. I hope you all don't buy out all my precious Exite coppa-pitzkugels .25 or I'll never give a tip to anyone ever again.

Hey guys,
As a direct importer of EDgun Pellets (JSB), I can tell you there is nothing nefarious going on. Prices didn't jump because of the EBR. The sad truth is our dollar has lost almost 20% of its value in a short amount of time compared to the Euro. There is no way the retailer can eat 16-20% change in Euro-dollar exchange rate. The exchange rate also affects shipping cost. The last factor is JSB also increase their wholesale price which is normal because of commodities, taxes, operating cost to name a few.

Even if you see the dollar recover in the next few months don't expect to see a quick price drop, understand that the pellets were most likely purchase several months ago of a 1.25 exchange rate. The dollar has recovered in the last few weeks, let us all hope we see the rates from Jan 2017 again.

Yes, and PA is out and back ordered on way too may pellets. So you can buy on 'sale' and get them later when they come in, not get them now.
I buy a years worth at a time (6000 of the JSB MkII 33.95 for example) but also will hit sales if they are good.
On PA prices, they mark up the pellets then if you buy 3 get one free. Do the math, it's NOT a deal.

EVERY tin of pellets I bought from Amazon had to be returned because so many were damaged (even some that said were 'supplied' by PA but were shipped in Amazon boxes with NO packing! ? ! ? ! ? ! ?)

I have been buying from Trenier Outdoors with a lower price and you pay shipping but if you check the TOTAL end cost is within pennies of each other. Trenier packs well too.
(Note even he is out of some sizes recently since the JSB factory is having problems shipping)
Here's a link to him, good guy https://www.trenieroutdoors.com/
