wow ior recon nice I got my eye on the recon ,

which is better the 1 or the 2 yo ior looks like recon 1 did u ever look threw the recon 2?

No I have not, so therefore I can’t answear that question. But the gen 2 specs may indicate even better light pass through, and an upgrade? What is your concern? Size/weight? Go for the gen 2 and be happy. I don’t think there is many out there who can tell you the differences between those two scopes by experience.

HI gunnertrones I want a top line IOR I want a 40mm tube weight is not concern all 40mm ior are heavy I know crusader and recon 1 track well ,my concern is with the recon 2 if the objective lens caused any clarity with optic I do know the recon 2 has 150moa elevation and I know the reticle subtensions are a bit finer , I see both for sale in ior website he has one of each display models I am considering them and also the crusader from optics trader eu as it is awesome price , I mite have to get all lol , just kidding only 1 I got alot of glass nowbut n 40mm

Sightron SIII FT 2nd generation 10-50x60. Milrad for clicks (finer spacing per click) Millhash reticle (more holdover/hold off points). Any gun I put it on.

I have a Hawke Tac 6-21 sidewinder that has excellent glass. I’ve had it on several of my gun over the years. It will soon go on my new R5M. Only drawback is that weighs almost 30 oz. I’m considering a lighter scope but afraid I might not get lucky with the optics like I did with my hawke.

I'm hoping I love the March 1-8x24 with illuminated reticle. I ordered it today. It will go on a Steyr Hunting Scout Auto 5. Saved a little bit with with my retired LE credentials.

I have the zero eye relief MTC Optics Viper Connect SL 3-12x32 AMD on my Wildcat.

I have a Vortex 3 - 15x42 Razor LH on my Brocock Bantam Sniper HR .25. The clarity of the image is amazing.
