Tuning What's your favorite 1377 & 1322 mods?

Hey guys last year I asked you guys your favorite mods for the 1322. Many of you showed me the power mods like flat top pistons and magnum valves. I built a 1322 with alchemy air works internals and put on a 14.5 barrel. I got alot more power and it turned out great. Well I liked it so much that I bought a 1377 and plan on doing it all over again. This time I plan on focusing more on the looks and accuracy than power. I may upgrade it later for power but for now I am trying to keep the stock barrel length and make a target gun. Wondering if you guys might post some pics of your favorite wood grips and paint/finish like cerecoat etc and mods for accuracy like sights and barrel choices. I plan on getting a Lothar Walther barrel and 1701 trigger group. Can't wait to see what kind of things you have done to your guns. Thanks dudes!

For a target pistol of factory length, this would be a must for me. No other barrel band is anywhere near as good.

There are un-threaded versions that are cheaper. I have the pass thru with no sight post.

Pair that with a Williams rear sight, gmac steel breech, LW barrel, and p-rod trigger group... It'd be hard to do any better.

I have ebony grips from alliance on one of my 1322s, and they really do add a large amount of stability (in heft, and grip) to the pistol.

Pretty expensive tho. 88 bucks for a barrel band is pretty rough.

Indeed. But the fit is spot on, includes a mod adapter. And there is a set screw in the under-side. Plus a very nice pump arm cross-pin.

I used to use another secondary barrel band because gmac, backpacker, and factory bands were all inadequate. This one isn't.

(huge pain to disassemble)

Raden1942, The Crosman 362 is supposed to be out sometime around this Fall. You might want to hold off on a new build until you check it out. It may be a better starting point for your next pumper-project. From what I’ve gathered reading on the interwebs it is basically a 1322 built with a rifle length pump tube. Retail is allegedly going to be under $100, and using a 20% off coupon will really make it a nice place to start with a long barrel included already.
(I am not sure if this will only be in .22 or if it will also come out as the .177)

Just a suggestion. Happy airgunning.

I dont understand why they don't just factory assemble a "premium version" of the 1377/22 for a little bit more coin.

I bought one along with my first break barrel 12/2021. I bought the 1377 bc as a kid I always wanted a 1377.

In under 60 days I've upgraded to the steel breech, had to add a dovetail to picatinny mount, and shoulder stock.

I still need to replace the crappy pivot pin, upgrade to metal band, and I'd like to add that spacer piece between the piston and barrel.

I haven't even touched the internal parts yet...
