What's the difference between a mill or moa

For ease of use you should probably get the reticle that matches the turret adjustment distance. For example if the the turrets adjust 1/4 MOA per click then get the MOA reticle. Both MOA (minute of angle) and MIL (milliradians) are angular measurements within a circle. So 1 MOA at 100 yards is 1.047 inches. It is common to round down to 1. 1 MOA at 50 yards is 1/2 inch, 1 MOA at 200 yards is 2 inches (rounded) and so on. One MIL is equal to 3.438 MOA. The MIL scopes I have seen usually have turrets that equate 1 click to 1/10 of a MIL. Another factor to consider is that if your mind thinks in yards and inches it is prob easier to use MOA, if your a metric system person like the rest of the world then MIL is probably easier.
