What’s going on with Pyramyd Air?

I understand that there’s a pandemic going on, I emailed PA Monday, and today still no response which made me wonder what’s going on. Hopefully I my order will ship sometime soon.

You should call. I got the impression it is not a perpetual inventory system, and things are going out faster than the system can be updated. I had relatively good luck communicating by phone. Based on what I was told, if your rifle was in stock, you are probably about 2 weeks from shipping, plus delivery time. 

Have to correct my above post about long ship time on pellets, ordered four tins yesterday, shipped today.

Ordered my Chrono a couple of weeks ago. Received the update pick and pack email as promised. Today I got notified of shipping and delivery on Thursday by FedEx. Considering the strange times we are in now I'm good with their operation. They, like us all, are doing the best we can. Like that famous or infamous song(depending on perspective)"Don't worry, Be Happy". Good shooting all

Made my first order through them and was less than impressed with the speed, but more importantly, their communication. Had to give them another chance so i made a second order a few weeks later and that one was much better.

Initial order was placed on 4/23. After 7 days of the same initial status of being packaged I attempted to call and email, getting their answering machine and leaving a message, and never getting a reply by phone or email.

This eventually shipped on 5/5, taking 10 working days to process.

The second order was placed on 5/18, and was sent to FedEx after only 2 days on 5/20, which I'm hoping is a sign that they made some adjustments to their process.

I purchased an item from other supplier, who ordered the part from Pyramid Air. It took 3 weeks for PA to ship item. Item arrived a week later (even when shipped Priority Mail, so the postal service was also slow). But in my opinion, PA took a lot of time to cimplete shipping process. Hope they fix this.

Texting and emailing is the best way to get ahold of PA in these times. I received a tracking number from them today and the delivery date still matches the date they said while I was checking out. Even when it’s taken 2-3 weeks PA is still keeping to their dates even though it’s nice to receive shipments earlier than expected. 

I tried calling them today with no luck. Had some questions about some things I wanted to purchas . I hung up after 25 minutes waiting

You wanna get your s**t fast, stop cheaping out on the free shipping. Free shipping puts you at the bottom of the queue. Made an impulse purchase late last night from PA that I didn't feel like waiting 2-3 weeks for so I paid for 1 day shipping - got shipping and tracking information this morning. 

I had an order of pellets from PA that showed in stock then out of stock after it was a confirmed order.

After 10 days or so I inquired about it and was told that it was in the picking process and that was all they knew.

After 15 days I sent email letting them know how I felt about this process. I told them to cancel the order or my bank would.

I got a very prompt refund.

I know things are different nowadays but don't take orders if you can't ship them.

Other than that I have had very good service from PA

They are catching up I think, email them and they will respond in 1 day. I ordered arounds 20 tins of pellets in 5 different orders in last 2 months and it did take a while at first but my last order got here in a week. 

it took nearly 3 weeks for delivery of my last order.

I think the blame lies with FedEx, though, as I received email stating my order was shipped the next day after ordering.

can't vouch for UPS or USPS.

A Daisy Model 25....Folks and I were on a vacation upstate NY when I was about 10(long,long time ago). Got introduced to a Boy Scout training for a merit badge in his backyard. He let this "city kid" try it and that was it. The addiction began. On and off for the next 55+ years. Now that I am retired in rural Ohio I get to devote a lot of time to my passion,hobby,addiction or whatever...loving it...

 

I order a fill probe for my Diana Stormrider. The product was out of stock and repeatedly furthered back-ordered pushing the delivery date back. It took two months go get it. I understand delays on thier end due to staffing and operational changes due to this pandemic, but there are also the delays they experience from thier suppliers. Yes you can pay for faster delivery to handle some issues, but somethings cannot be sped up if they cannot get the products in to thier warehouse.

Somethings I have looked at there are out ofstock and have been for a while. They cannot ship what they do not have.

Just my two cents.
