I have dealt with field supply.com in the past and I can say that they have awesome deals on products and great customer service. However, their inventory control methods aren’t up to par.
I ordered the refurbished RWS Airking 54(.177) for $330! Heck of a deal right? When the gun arrived I ripped it out of the box and grabbed the JSB 10.34 and proceeded to shoot the rifle. I thought to myself after the first shot: “Dam this thing sure kicks” for a gun that’s advertised to have minimal recoil because of the “perfect artillery hold” rail system that absorbs the shock. I thought if this is how a minimal recoil springer feels like I don’t know how in hell guys can shoot regular springers. Low and behold, I look at the rifles markings and it’s a 48! Quite the nice rifle but at $330+30 for shipping it was not worth it for a refurbed 48. Heck I can get a brand new 48 from PA for $10 more and have a solid company that is fully equipped to deal with any issues I have with the gun.
Fieldsupply.com aka Brandshopper LP seems like a drop shipping company that is just here to move product and make a profit. I would expect any true airgun company to check a product before they ship it out, it takes 2 seconds to look at a product before you ship it out. It’s no headache for them but my time is very precious and i do not like being annoyed with having to repackage a box, waste gas on driving it back to ups that’s an hour away, and then have to wait for the money to be put back in my account. On top of that they never even had the 54 in stock.
