What will be your next pcp project..?

I'm in the middle of my project. The Stormrider is tuned to shoot 13 grain Griffons at about 21 fpe. I intend to work on accuracy with it next week and turn it into a ground hog rifle for stalking the fields. Ballistics of that slug are pretty good and they really hold their energy well. So we will see what that little rifle can do.

Doing the old cliched 2240 to PCP conversion. I know I could buy a pp700 and be done with it BUT it’s valve is no Don Cothran balanced valve! And having most parts of the gun made from stainless steel means it will suffer less from corrosion making it an heirloom piece that can be handed down. Plus stainless just looks cooler than anodized plain steel. Got all my parts in from Don: Valve, tube, fill plug, adjustable hammer, power adjuster, etc. Now I’m waiting on PA to deliver the 2240XL. Going to keep the barrel stock to keep this pistol as short as possible when I’m going on hikes in the mountains. I like how these new 2240s have the stock barrel conveniently threaded for a moderator. After it’s all put together I’ll slap on a sumo and BSA pistol scope and she’ll be ready to hunt!

Currently working on mine. Turning my first airgun, a MK1 Brocock Bantam in .25 with the 400CC metal bottle, into an optimized PCP that's less of an air hog. It's absolutely horrid on air in it's stock configuration.

Bought an Omega 580cc carbon fiber bottle from AOA, which is currently installed, and waiting on an Altaros regulator to show up.

Overall it's a nice gun, but would be much more pleasant to shoot if it didn't drop in velocity after only 12 rounds. Going to turn it into one of my pesting guns once it's dialed in.

rebuilding my gen1 Marauder into a 12ftlb FT gun

Have a Teryx stock for it, and a Athlon FFP scope (my first FFP... diferent :) ). Plans are to work the trigger and bolt, polish the raceway the hammer runs in, get a new buttstock, check the "it's so old I dont remember when I got it or who made it or what it's set to" reg, and spent a lot of time with the chrony, targets and Strelok to get it dialed in to the Nth degree (meaning bad shots are MY fault....).

I got a Hatsan Flash in .177 that's putting out 31fpe. Waiting for NSA to start the high speed production (lower cost) .177 slugs. The 16.2Jsb gives me the same trajectory as my 25cal pushing 47fpe but with a LOT less noise. Even with the pellets I have 17fpe at 100yds. That's plenty for anything I'm shooting with an airgun.

Different platform but same concept👍🏻

THAT is one cool looking Flash and sounds like it is a real shooter too.

My next project is another .22 Huben K1. One will be set up with slugs and one with pellets.

Thanks! It took about an hour to paint it with the Walmart camo paint and some stencils I made from google images. I did remove the QE and replace it with some CF tube so that the barrel is still tensioned. Drilled the ports and made a peek valve seat in the drill press. And in the yard range (25yds) it's singe hole.
