What was your most accurate gun out of the box?

FX Bobcat Mk2 .25 or my Theoben Rapid 12 .20. The first day out the Rapid printed a sub 1/2" 50 yard group by a friend of mine who was a novice shooter, that was July 4th weekend 2004 and is still going strong. The Bobcat and the original smooth twist barrel has been about as perfect as the state of technology can deliver or as good as I can shoot from day one, I've printed and posted some of the best groups of my life with the Bobcat, a hundred times after a shooting session with the Bobcat I've wanted to post on AGN about the virtues of this fine platform, and I see there are some others who would agree!

I (literally) just bought my third gun which is scheduled to be delivered this coming Tues the 21st but of the two that I currently own - an Air Arms S510 XS Ultimate Sporter .22 and a .177 M-Rod - the AA was, and still is, deadly accurate right out of the box.

The new one - a Taipan Veteran Long .22 - ( mic drop ) (( lol!! )) ((( Austin Powers - YeAh BaBy!! ))) Tony from Talon Tunes has built it for me and tuned it - I expect that it'll be a tack driver. I can't wait for it to show up. :)

Too many ... lol. First was probably a .22 LR90 but shortly after ... a Theoben R17. Wife and I could only shoot at 32 yds at the time but competed w each other as prep for FT. With the R17, a flier took me out of the zeros (less than .1") Her LR90 was very close.

Probably least I've ever done on one to be ready to compete was one of the first 5 DS Crx ST. Still have it. Amazing, durable, very shootable FT rifle. Mac1 Usft is right there with it but had to find a better barrel for it, so doesn't really qualify. Have to say the 2 steadiest, sturdiest, amazing rifles I've owned are the USFT and the Theoben R17 Mk1. Nearly 20 years now and still haven't replaced a seal on the Usft and the R17 went 17 years before needing seals .

The most accurate rifle I think I've ever shot , out of the box is a DS Midnight Wolf 22 HP I've been tasked w tuning. Straight from the box, pellet on pellet at 100 w moa groups..... mostly, depending on my wind judgment . Ridiculously easy to shoot. 980 w 25.4s on MID... crazy!
