What was your most accurate gun out of the box?

This is before tuning , just straight out of the box accurate. now for me first , i had luxury of shooting a taipan vet long , wildcat mk2 , brocock bantam sniper hr , edgun r5m , and vulcan2 bullpup. all 25 cal. all used same ammo. now , for me , the taipan vet and the wildcat mk2 shoot virtually equal. the other 3 were only SLIGHTLY less accurate. Now we all know tuning and pellet and power adjustment , etc all can enhance accuracy. this was just a simple observation out of the box. SO , what were yours?

Aloha rangur1,

With my .25 after cleaning the barrels, not adjusting anything. My veteran std. would be first, streamline second, uragan std. third, and r5m fourth all shooting jsb 25.39 straight out of the tin, not washed, lubed or sorted.

My other .25's didn't count because I already worked on the barrels by either lapping or polishing and adjusting the speed I wanted to shot at.

Aloha,

Keone

Have to say Cricket Carbine 22 cal . but the dealer did clean the barrel & a test target with 3 different pellets which saved me a lot of time . My Puncher breaker from P.A. 22 cal .believe it or not was mind blowing to 65yds. it was untouched I just needed to clean the barrel . I've read so much about the vet that's the next one for me been dragging my feet to long

Most accurate rifle I ever owned was a Daystate Airwolf MCT .22, most accurate rifle I currently own is a Redwolf Safari .25. The MCT would stack 18.1 JSB’s into a dime all day, every day at 50 yards. At 100 it would group between 1 and 1.25”. My current Safari shoots maybe nickel sizes groups at 50 but consistent below 1” at 100 yards, with a best 5-shot group averaging .534” CTC.

I just got one of those and its an amazing gun. 👍

I am going to say my B/P Cricket in 22 , 25 cricket , and Taipan Veteran in 22 and 25 all were super accurate out of the box, My Crickets were tuned by Earnest so they may be , Exempt from the list, Oh I got one of the first Mutant 22 to hit the states, This gun only shoots 16gr JSB at 800 FPS but its deadly accurate , For five years never so much as a seal has gone out of any gun,

Mike

FX Crown Continuum 22 was accurate out of the box with both barrels (the 380mm that shipped with it was defective, but the replacement was 👌).

WORST barrel out of the box: Taipan Veteran Standard 22 cal LW. The only that mine shipped with was AWFUL. Patches never came out clean before I had even shot it, and continued to stain them after I polished it. The bore is like a graphite pencil, I've never seen anything like it 👎

Toss-up for me:

Daystate Regal XL .177 cal. -- an heirloom, indeed! And the venerable FX Royale 500 .25 cal.-- my choice, if ever I entered a formal competition for accuracy and prize money was on the line.
