What Vendors/Manufacturers do you like doing business with?

Hello everyone.

I didn't see one list of vendors/manufacturers that you really like dealing with as a "one stop" place, though there are a ton of individual entries. Perhaps we can all come together to help others looking for exemplary products/services.

I just received my third order from The O'Ring Store, and I have been really happy with dealing with them. Their prices are reasonable, they ship really quick, and include a little gift with every order.

I have worked a whole lot with Alchemy Airworks on e-bay (going as NeedfulThings_2021). They have been able to provide a number of unique products, and ship fast. I have also asked a number of questions about different products and have received answers quickly.

Jake Bowman has the company www.JB3DPD.com He has gone above and beyond to provide all of the crazy things that I wanted customized for my guns and his prices are always reasonable. He has provided the engineering as well as the manufacturing for custom 3D printed stuff, and does a great job and ships quick.

I have only heard awesome things about dealing with DonnyFL directly, but I have personally got all of my Donnies from Utah Airguns...which I also like doing business with.

Finally, as a kind of "honorable mention", I have been really impressed dealing with Pyramyd Air. Their website seems to be the "smartest" of all of the different airgun distributors, but I also received a Christmas gift from them on my last order as a "bonus". I also made a mistake on an order recently and forgot that they give you a free tin of pellets when you order three, but they added an extra tin of pellets on the order themselves. I really appreciate that. I don't want to detract from the awesome service that I have received from UAG, AOA, AGD, etc., but Pyramid Air has stood out to me lately.

I have received really good customer service from a number of other vendors as well, so I am not intentionally trying to leave anyone out, but these are the ones that I have dealt with that have stood out above everyone else because they were obviously trying to provide exceptional service. I would go out of my way to order from any of these guys. Who would you recommend????

Skeeter,

ZANS Projectiles in Slovenia. He's helped many put the JSB pellet shortage in the rearview mirror.

ZANS is a slug that I have yet to shoot, but I will definitely be adding it to my arsenal. I have FX Hybrid, H&N, NSA (though not enough), & Patriot; however that is my "missing link". We'll get some on order...

Thanks!

Ken Hicks from Southern Precision Air Weapons, top notch service and usually has what I need available for immediate shipping.

Matt Dubber's latest drop with his new toys ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-EgxJu2zaY ) mentioned that Ken shipped him the Sekhmet gauges along with all the goodies to program them, etc. Ken has done a lot with AEAC which has been fantastic as well. Absolutely a fist-class act! I am so glad that you brought SPAW up, Sell682! I am looking forward to meeting Ken and doing business with him.

Pyramyd air has always done a supurb job of packaging my pellets. And huma air has the absolute best customer service I've experienced. Airguns of Arizona have been very friendly and helpful as well. Scott/motorhead does excellent work. As does mountain air custom. And if I want projectiles, I always go to griffin first. Not having means to make my own yet.

TRENIER OUTDOORS ..... for much of our primary gear gets my vote.

Motorhead, I have never worked with Trenier Outdoors, but will definitely be looking forward to it. Thanks for the tip!

+1 on Spaw. +1 on Utah. +1 on Donnyfl. +1 on Crosman. thumbs up for Georgia Airguns.thumbs up for Eaglevision. Huge thumbs down for edgunwest. The service after buying nearly 2000 worth of problems left a bad taste in my mouth.

Scoutscope,

My experience with Crosman is only limited to what I have dealt with them on Ebay, which they were a little slow to ship. That said, a number of people have had custom work through them, so I will keep that in mind to deal with them directly. I haven't worked with Eaglevision either as I have yet to get a scope cam, but other than the customer service, is there something else to make us consider them over a Side-Shot or something else?

Long_Gun_Dallas,

I agree, Pyramyd has stood out in a number of ways, but again, a number of the others have been fantastic to work with as well. Airgun distributors are a step above in general, I would say. Perhaps because we are a niche market?

I am about to get my first Huma regulator, so after your suggestion, I will probably go directly with Huma.

Finally, your last suggestion of Mountain Air Custom is a new one to me. I will definitely put them on my link list and check them regularly when shopping.

Jonathan, Going to plug our local supplier here in Parker Colorado. Travis is awesome. Give him a call.

Hey Patrick/2L8,

That is an awesome suggestion! I am in Colorado, in the mountains outside Colorado Springs, so I am in between Airgun Outdoors and RL Airgun Supply. The latter was suggested by Steve from Air Velocity Sport when he broke down his Avenger, so I would put them on this list too. I tried to stop by Airgun Outdoors a couple weeks ago when I was in South Denver, and it was in a Thursday...when they were closed :-( I'll keep trying and hope to meet Travis soon!

This is turning out to be a great thread!!!! Thank you all SOOO MUCH for your comments about your super-valuable experience. As Scoutscope said about Edgun West, you can note the "stinkers" here as well.

Thanks again!

I realized that I didn't include the vendor on E-bay that I have gotten my 2240 to PCP conversion kits from. They are called free_outdoor. They offer free shipping, which can take a LONG time, and that is the only option. That is the drawback. They ship within a couple days of receiving the order, so the shipping delay isn't on them...except that there isn't an option to expedite if you wanted to.

I have made four orders through this group, and they have always included a extra o-ring or whatever I asked for with the order. They have also been responsive as to some questions that I had on thread sizes or whatever crazy questions I was asking. The slow shipping is the only issue that I have when ordering from them, but that isn't directly on them. I have been quite happy with what I have received from them.

airgunopticsplus.com Honest and fair.

I've never worked with AirGunOpticsPlus myslef, but have heard a number of YouTubers refer to them during their reviews. It's great to have them on this list!

Tom with my high pressure air is great. He has been my go to guy when to come to slugs huma and fx parts. I ordered multiple nsa and zan slugs also. The huma gauges on my Maverick came from Tom. He was the only one in the states to have the 315 and 250 bar gauges along with the covers.

Thanks so much for the tip, Zeringue! I've been "geeking out" on My High Pressure Air for a while now. They have a number of things that you don't see on other sites at all and their list of brands is pretty amazing. This is great! Thanks again for adding them to this list!

Thanks for your contribution to this list, OrchidMan!

I've probably bought over half of all of the parts for all of my airguns off of E-Bay, which has been a good experience overall, plus rodjava described his experience using the Allstate Warranty when buying a Yong Heng compressor at WalMart. Using these "big" vendors definitely has advantages, but as you mentioned, the selection is often very lacking. You can't customize an FX Impact M3 on Amazon like you can from Utah Airguns, but if you want a variety pack of Gamo hunting pellets, Amazon will hook you up at a reasonable price.

All this said, I'm glad that you added the "big" guys to the list, but I was thinking more of vendors that you really enjoy talking to because you get useful advice, etc. With these guys, I personally will be like "Oh God! I have to deal with Customer Service at ...". The prices at WalMart can't be beat, but God help you if you have a problem because you will be talking to someone in some far-off land with no power to actually help you without talking to a supervisor. Another airgunner mentioned in the past that they had an issue with a DonnyFL. He called and talked to Donny himself, and Donny sent him a replacement right then and didn't ask for a return of the product he has issues with. These are subtleties that set a vendor apart.

I'm not "picking favorites" here, but am making an observation. I have had issues with orders from Air Gun Depot as well as from Pyramyd Air when receiving an order. With AGD, they shorted me a part, and with Pyramyd, they shipped the wrong thing. When I called AGD, it took well over 30 minutes to talk to someone in customer service, and though they shipped out the missing part, they seemed quite "passé" about the issue and didn't throw in an AGD sticker or anything. With Pyramyd, I called and talked to someone right away, and he apologized, credited me for the mistake, and told me to keep the extra part saying "Merry Christmas". Sure these are similar scenarios, but my experience with Pyramyd definitely made me want to do business with them again. AGD still "took care of business", but the experience wasn't as pleasant.

I have been ordering a ton of steel targets lately (OK, maybe not a "ton", but a hundred or more pounds for sure). One vendor on E-Bay that I have ordered from a few times that has reasonable prices, and ships quick is HD Steel Targets. My last order there was a mistake where I ordered two sets of four, but they only shipped one. I let them know right away on a Friday, and I had a tracking number for the balance within an hour or so. The product shipped the next day (Saturday) and was here the following Tuesday. Now, believe it or not, Kudos goes out to the USPS as they delivered it a day early.

Anyway, I am not sure how this list has "evolved" since originally posted. I know that DonnyFL isn't selling moderators on their website anymore (as of today), but I assume that their customer service for the Niksan airguns or accessories is still top-notch. Any thoughts
