Ken is a great guy for sure, really one of the good guys. He's always so genuine, helpful and just a really cool dude. His customer service is top notch for sure too.
The weather sucks down here a little South of you too. 2.5" of rain in 24hrs. I've only had my Impact for a few weeks and have been messing with it as much as I've been able to. I'm on vacation next week and am anxious to shoot a lot after having a long discussion with Ernest about velocities and the best tune for my gun. I only have one 580cc tank on my gun with the 700mm barrel, get 90 shots at 150BAR in .25 and a peak velocity of 950fps using the 33.95MKII's. That's pretty darn hot for stock! I had it down to an ES of 4fps but accuracy wasn't what I was hoping for at 840fps. That's why I called Ernest. I told him that everybody suggested no more than 850fps and he kind of chuckled. He told me to tune it to shoot between 890fps and 940fps which kind of surprised me. I take his word above all others though, so that's what I'm going to do.
Sorry I got off on a tangent Lewis. The point is, these guns are powerful, super accurate, balanced just right, surprisingly quiet and oh so sexy! I'm sure you're going to love it and like me, I'm sure you're super anxious to shoot. It's supposed to stop raining by Wed. next week!
I see you went with the .22, are you planning on using the heavies if they shoot for you? I would say that's probably a yes judging on the 75yd and 100yd groups. Jeesh, those are pretty darn impressive. Another reason to go with Ken, he sure can tune them to perform! 950fps in .22 with the heavies is pretty impressive. You're going to get like 350 shots or something ridiculous per fill too. What scope are you going to go with?
Have fun with your new gun! Maybe sometime in the near future we can get a group of Nor Cal guys together and shoot?
