What speed do you like shooting .22 Polymags at??

Sorry to ask, I can't be the first but I read through 4 pages of search and can't find the answer to what I assume is a common question, if you don't mind helping me out...



What FPS do you like shooting the Predator Polymag at? I'm shooting them at 1050 (after tuning my hammer spring down..) through my Kral PB but will likely be at 950-1000 with the spring all the way backed out, I do have a lighter spring I can drop in but was hoping not to but I want to see decent groups to at least 40-45yds.

I am not sure what is the optimal velocity in my rifle, Daystate Air Wolf .22, but around 920fps ( power 2 ) they are pretty accurate at least to 45yds and are devastating on pest birds.

Oh that’s good news - do you know what you are shooting 18.1’s at on power setting 2? Mine is shooting them at about 950 and accurate to 94yds (to my surprise), probably further as well. I wonder what the comparison is for FPS and accuracy is between the two, jsb are heavier but more aerodynamic with higher BC, polys are lighter and may have higher muzzle velocity but at 50yds maybe the same POI and FPE but definitely dump more energy into the target!
