Ok, No B.S.!, just Received some jsb’s from a supplier I’ve used many times 18.1 jumbo heavies now I have a RW hp that shoots these extremely well!, but had run out so ordered some more because I promised to send some with gun, so went to shoot a few to confirm accuracy, gun wouldn’t group for nothing even @ 30yds which it normally puts 10 through the same hole “really” so started to panic first thought gun... thought lets chrono! 20fps+ slower? Ok this gun has been spot on & extremely consistent w/velocity & POI... so went to pellet gage, READY-5.57+ (gage only goes to 5.57!) so they are at least 5.58 probably larger? I know this story was long and drawn out but had to preface it first! If your still reading has anyone else seen this? and this particular machine die must be at the end of its life cycle...I HOPE!


 
I have had a similar experience with that same pellet. After shooting thousands of them, all of a sudden they dont fit in my Matador, a gun that was made specifically for that pellet. I didnt think about measuring them, just sent them back. I did notice one thing different about the container, on the lid under where it says 5.5mm, it used to say CZ in the little box, now it has some kind of numerical code instead. The pellets had stretch marks in the skirt and a very pronounced seam in their side, which cannot work too well on something that spins as it flies through the air, flaws that do not exist in the previous 18.1s. They also did not shoot well in a Daystate Wolverine B, a Huntsman Regal, and in an as new FX Tarantula S, all of which shot them beautifully before. These pellets have always been my standard choice in a .22, but from now on if they dont say CZ in that little box, I don`t want them.

I've ranted more than enough about JSB pellets.. 
There are always people that are going to argue with us, but, here's more proof.. 
Something is most definitely up with their quality control, and it looks like we're the ones getting the floor-sweepings..

I gave up and switch to using H&Ns..

I ONLY went with JSB again recently to try out their new Hades version, but that'll be a whole other topic..
