What is your most accurate gun *With CPHP*?

Wow, some really impressive shooting at 50 yards with the Taipan and the Gamo! I'd be happy with that at 30, let alone 50. I think I have lost track of which of my guns shoot them well, will give them a try at least out of the Taipan this weekend and see how they do. I do remember shooting them out of various guns and getting very tight groups at 30, only to see them scatter all over the place the next time I tried them. I really need to be more organized and keep a better log of these things. 

A few days ago the Wildcat in .177 was shooting them perfectly an then it went to hell, but that has been par for the course with any pellet I try out of that thing, and the topic of another thread....

Thanks for sharing guys, in my opinion, any gun that can shoot those well is a keeper.

Had a little fun with the Least Pellet Picky thread a bit ago. Let’s try this one. The cheapskates in all of us absolutely love when we find out one or more of our guns shoot the Wally Mart specials Crosman Premier Hollow Point. I mean, you can get these things at about $6/500 tins in .177. So, how about it? Which one of your guns love them?

In .177 caliber my crosman 1720T shoots CPHP like laser! Super satisfying when headshoting house sparrows at 25 yards. Body shots on sparrows aren’t even a challenge at 30 yards! 


in .22 caliber my impact with superior liner shoots them like laser also. At 30 yards on bipod and bag with no wind it’s basically same hole. 


In .22 caliber my PP700 shoots CPHP same hole at 20 yards, a little harder because it’s hard to get eye position consistent on the crappy stock but the gun itself shoots them like laser.

They have a few other kinds of pellets but not one tin of cphp’s I asked when they would be getting more in they said when what’s in the shelves are gone (all kinds) they won’t be getting more in, ny is such a messed up state doesn’t surprise me in the least. I’ve also tried 2 other Walmart’s 3 total. Same answer. I bought a cpl tins a while back they were like $6 I see them online and these jerks want anywhere from $15-$25 plus shipping that’s not gonna happen

I just bought my buddy a Xisico Sentry Deluxe in .22. I tuned the gun around the 14.3’s. Built a smaller TP and have it shooting 850fps. Nothing is surviving out to 50yrds. A flier every now and then but that’s to be expected. Crazy accurate with those little stone like pellets. None of the 3 Walletmarts near me carry them anymore either. Good thing because I would be buying another Sentry for myself. Most of my guns that shoot them start getting a little crazy around the 50yrd mark. Not the Xisico.

You may want to give these a try. They are very accurate in some 177 guns and able to kill birds out to 65 yards if your gun likes them. 500 count and from WALMART WITH FREE SHIPPING.
