What is your largest springer?

I was doing some clean out in my safe and dug out my largest airgun. It's a Turkish made Webley Patriot. At around 46 inches in length and weighing in at nearly 10 lbs unscoped, it's a mammoth of a spring gun.

This Patriot normally would require a 50 lb pull to cock it and in .25 caliber produces nearly 30 ft lbs of energy. That's a lot for a springer! IMO

This particular Patriot was sent to Mike Ellingsworth....the Hastan Guru....for a conversion to a gas ram system. He also installed a set back trigger. With the conversion, it produces a crazy 34 ft lbs of energy. It's a cannon! Lol.

When I first got it I had an old Beeman pellet trap to use on my range. This Patriot blew holes in it. Lol. So I upgraded my trap to a 22 rim fire. The pellets actually move the entire trap on impact. Nuts!!

Because it's so big and bulky I never use the Patriot outdoors. I'm sure I wouldn't last long in the woods carrying that beast. But for target shooting. ...especially with tin cans....it's a hoot!

Some people have a lot of negative things to say about the latest Turkish made Webleys. Personally, I think that my Patriot is built like a tank! The Quattro trigger is sublime now that Mike tamed it. Overall, I think the Himalayan Walnut stock is beautiful. So, it might not be the greatest air rifle, but it's a keeper for me. I'll always have it to kick tin cans around the yard.
