What is your favorite caliber?

My preference is 25cal despite only having one (because of fac restrictions - not personal preference) as it can handle everything from 10 yards to 100 yards and covers everything below foxes (UK). Saves me messing around with multiple airguns and rimefires, albeit I still own all of these......... 

I'm new to this so going only by reading - waiting for the two most typical of obtaining a new PCP airgun. My 177 experience was brake springer type. It may only seem that there is a push for the new guns in higher .30 ish size. Maybe just reflecting a segment of guns being new to a curious group of substance (airgun Pell / slug) dependent users.

Having Seneca Eagle Claw .25 tuned by Veradium Air. Converting to slugs. Rifle mainly used for hunting.

I find my self only shooting 30cal anymore less wind shifts but that's just me. 

Haven’t picked a favorite yet! That might change when I pick up a .25 barrel we shall see.

I have had all .177's until I got a P-rod. It can't compete with my Daystate's or Even my Air Arms. But those 22's for the P-rod sure are easier to handle. If I had of started with them that may be all I would have. The .177 is enough for me for power since I can only shoot 75 yards in my yard.

I tend to go .177 for pistols and .22 for rifles. 
For rifles, I like the oomph .22 delivers so I can feel comfortable for squirrel and rabbits. I'm a big fan of the bigger and slower is better for hunting school of thought. 
.177 for pistols is basically by default because not many a chambered in .22. 
That being said, I've been very curious aobut the .25 in recent years, but the price of ammo and the somewhat limited availability of rifles offered in it have made me just admire it from afar.

.22 for slugs and .25 for pellets. 

For me slugs have changed the game a bit. I used to be a .25 addict but now .22 is also very tempting .

Being my primary use of air guns is Field target competition and seeking the best accuracy from them ... the lowly .20 cal is tops in that world !!

.177 for a yard gun / plinker and .22 for near everything else sporting / hunting. tho have a couple .25's and a .30 but seldom shoot them.

My vote: .25 cal 34gr JSB MK2

Why?

1) One of the best pellet BCs

2) Great accuracy out of my FX Impact at low power setting - 620fps

3) Great accuracy out of my FX Impact at high power setting - 920fps

4) Remains stable and accurate at all distances i can reach out to

5) When lubed with FP10, I have never even cleaned the barrel after 10k rounds

...I am down with this...right down to the pellet... 

...right now I am kind of (re)discovering the .17 bore...now I like all the things I hated aboot it as a kid...

...it steps up the power w/o totally becoming an expensive monster you can't shoot anyplace you would not shoot a powder burner...

...with some guns it is getting close to that point as it is...

...I really like my .25 cal Air Force Escape and feel that it might be my favorite gun period...

...it has been as reliable as a refrigerator and I can just pump it full of air with a hand pump, then kill anything a .22 would...it is more accurate than my .22's...

...I have like 39 guns...maybe six air guns...three that work...two are not even here...LoL...
