What is up with Shoebox Compressors?

Does anybody know if Shoebox Compressors is still operating? I ordered a F10 about a month and a half ago. Sent in the required authorization paperwork. After about ten days, I emailed them to enquire about the status of my order. The next day, I was checking my bank account, and noticed they had refunded my money a few days earlier. I emailed them asking why this happened. I never got a single response. Not to my original email nor the second one asking why my order was cancelled. Fast forward to this week. I tried again. I ordered directly from their website. I completed and emailed the form back to the specified email address. Next day, I get a second request for the forms, as if they hadn't received them. I dutifully send the forms again. Now, today, I get home to find a third, and final, request for the forms. Of course, I sent them again, but this isn't looking good. Does anybody know another way to get hold of them, beside the email address ([email protected])? This is getting frustrating, to say the least.

I was going to ask the same question don't see them listed at airtanksforsale anymore either , their useless without rebuild parts . If I have time tomorrow I'll call joe to see what's up. I hate when you have to email a company to buy something or ask a question . Just give a phone # butt my old school is about out these days . Theiceman I looked at that site a couple weeks ago & wanted one bad but with no phone # for a contact I considered them SOL for a sale - price was only I think $500 . Darell

Guy just ordered his and it showed up.

I’ve sent them a few emails the past week asking about the F10 and have gotten responses within a day or so. Not sure what you’re running into.

I got to thinking, and wondered if it might have to do with my email service, Spectrum. So, for kicks and grins I sent another email from my Google email account. Maybe this one will get through.

Mystery solved! I checked my email this morning, and viola! I had a message from Carol at Shoebox that was sent to me last night. It would appear that my emails from Spectrum (previously known as Time Warner Cable) were not going through. My compressor will be on the way shortly! Many thanks to all of you who responded. Without hearing your stories of quick email communications, I would have leaned towards suspecting bad customer service. Instead, ya'll made me think of trying a different way of communicating to see if that was the issue. I've heard of crowd-funding, but this is my first case of crowd-solving!

Apologize for what? If you go over my (unedited) posts, you will find that I asked if anybody knew if Shoebox was still in business, and explained what had happened to me. I made no disparaging comments about Shoebox or anybody that works there. I did state that it was a frustrating experience, but did not blame it on them. I simply asked for help and information in an attempt to resolve the issue I was having. I don't know why they were not seeing my emails. My email server says they were delivered. Maybe they have a filter on incoming email they are not aware of. I don't really care, now that I have established communication with them on a separate email account. I will leave this thread open, and when my compressor arrives, I will be happy to give a final report.
