What is the most impressive pcp?

AirWolf with Heliboard... so many possibilities.

I own a few PCPs Daystates Hw100s etc but the gun that never ceases to amaze me is my P15 - for the price and its light weight and constant performance- Its not as accurate as my Air wolf or MK 4 off the bench but out in the bush its now my go to gun and costs about 1

/3 of a wildcat . @kg regulated that gets about 50 shots per fill and can group at under 25 mm at 40 m- I love it

My favorite is the Kalibrgun Cricket, .25 cal

Why it's impressive to me:

  • Simple engineering
  • Functional built in magazine holder for 4 magazines
  • Great Trigger...fully adjustable
  • Extreme Accuracy... As accurate at 50 yd as my Impact, slightly less so at 100.
  • Ease of tear down for any repair....and so far in 5 years, it had a leak which turned out to be from the gauge...yes, the gauge.
  • Significantly cheaper than many other high end guns on the market. Think I got it for $1350.00. The Impact....well, you know.

Bottom line: It's been accurate and reliable; it just works.....the Impact has not. But is now.

Cricket: 40 bucks for a new gauge. and a few bucks for O-rings

Impact: 200-300+ bucks to have it worked on to make it shoot like it should; includes inner parts (valve seat), new pressure gauges, new X barrel.

The Cricket's one big con.....the cocking lever is too far back but not a deal breaker.

For me I have to say my first and one and only pcp would be my most impressive pcp that I own. my humble little Prod. Why? It’s not a pumper, it doesn’t use co2 and it’s not a springer or gas ram. Unfortunately I don’t have experience with anything else let alone these high end guns you’re all talking about. Maybe someday...

I have to say the RAW name also confuses me. I’ve only gotten back into airguns in the last 3 years or so and when hearing that name for the first time I had the impression these were semi or fully automatic air guns before I actually saw one. And I don’t care for the “weapon” part of their name either. If I’d been asked my opinion I’d have suggested a different name for the company but Martin didn’t ask me and probably doesn’t really care what my opinion is either, so...

Hey The PROD rocks! for short distance is accurate light, have no match imo! Since I have the impact i thought the Prod was going to get dust only..way wrong! Is the number 1 rat slayer I ever have...perfect for waking in the forest, it resist bumps ok ... the only bad thing is up to 30 mt, over that his 50% chance ...
