What is the most impressive pcp?

Not existent yet ...

I will take The Impact X add a built in Chronny in the shroud with a small screen and bluetooth or wifi and a very long lasting rechargeable battery, remove 2 pounds of it, remove a few seals and improve some materials that get wear a lot, add a custom ATN 4k "like" scope with no issues upgrading the app, AMP regulator, True HP (Double TP on barrel and probe, Large VS bore to 6.35mm, Larger delrin seat to 7.85mm, 125g hammer/spring guide, Milled valve housing, 40cc plenum tube), and add slug liner and pellet liners

Then, it will be for sure the most impressive pcp I have seen...but right now it will be the impact x :)

Mine so far! Accuracy and durability. Then egomaniacs tops it all off!

You misspelled EXPENSIVE. 😉

Seriously, though -- those are some really good ideas.

I think you are a crazy fan of Fx ! Fx must be happy about that. But But talk about what impresses you before showing your excitement, and I'm sure Fx will be happier now !😉

Don't see much talk about what impresses you there! Maybe I miss something? I just read the tittle!
I am not fan of FX, I am a big fan on the Impact X...but it could be better :p Impact X impresses me a lot: Barrel Change, Large Mag Capacity, big bottle, short and light easy to tune and fix, accurate as hell! I will be fan of any airgun like that! The only bad thing is that I have one only (in all cals)...I want a second one for slugs now...but I will wait for Impact X 2 probably.... ;)

I haven't read the whole thread, but looks like folks are talking about the high end guns. And rightfully so.

I also want to suggest that perhaps what could be considered impressive is what the $200 - $300 PCP's can do these days. Might one of those (Gauntlet, Stormrider, Flash, Urban, etc.) rifles be considered most impressive given what they can offer at that price? Just some food for thought.

Bingo!

I come from a competitive "powder burner" background, so my standards are pretty high. I haven't been overly impressed by any airgun (though I do really enjoy my Taipan). IMO, airguns are lacking in two big categories:

1. Accuracy - some of the best groups posted on here are right around 1 MOA. This is unacceptable accuracy for even some of the cheapest precision rifle PB's available today.

2. Reliability - not much more needs to be said here. Even the best of airguns seem to have issues.

I hope in the coming years there is a renessaince that occurs in the airgun world. With better/higher quality pellets and airgun design, there should be no problem achieving 1/2 MOA or better. They also need to work towards more reliable airguns. The amount of problems people have with airguns is a bit staggering.
