What is the lightest 100 yard capable semi-auto production PCP?

one thing i'll 'never' do again on an airgun is a refurb lol .. i can speak from experience that they do NOT go through a checklist to make sure theyre right .. all they do is get them so they operate and shove them out the door .. just saw a vid of a guy touting how great and thorough they are, and i was thinking yeah, you got lucky and/or since your likely sponsored on youtube you get the 'special' one , my refurb had a trashed barrel, rounded off screw heads and they shorted me a mag with the other ragged out one they sent - so i saved 100$, but was it worth it - NO .. same with other vids where these youtube heroes get guns for free and theyre tack drivers - thats because theyre hand picked and worked before they give them to the guy, thats not what your gonna get lol ...

As far as I know the Huben at 7 1/2 lbs is the lightest, most accurate semi auto at 100 yards. At first I was going to say the Steyr X Pro because it is 7 lbs but I have not seen any 100 yard shooting with it. Although I assume it should be quite capable. One question you have to ask yourself: Is a 1/2 lb difference worth almost double the cost for the steyr x pro? IMO..hell no

I'll chime in here with some data. I think my Leshiy 2 is 100 yard capable - I haven't pushed it that far with pellets. Did with slugs but gave up on slugs with the L2 in .25 or .30. Putting out just near 90 fpe with JSB 50gr in .30 and making nice groups out to 25 and 50.

It comes in right at 7.8 lbs and that is with scope, moderator, bigger 350cc air tank, carbon fiber handguard (I'm sure this helps the weight), hand grip and ARCA plate.

What kind of groups are you getting out to 100?

Seems like a naked "Leshiy 2 Long" is 5.25 lbs with a 13.5 inch barrel. Sounds like it could be usable at 100 yards?

Postman just came with my second L2 Long (wo-hoo!), weight is exactly 5.25 lbs, with Vector Veyron 3-12x44, mounts included and ready to go 6.72 lbs

This is in .177 cal, larger calibers will be a bit lighter

The Vector Veyron including mount is 667 Gram (1.47 lbs)

The Dedal Stalker with integrated mount is 417 Gram (0.92 lbs)

So the long version in .177 cal and scoped with the stalker would be 6.17 lbs total

The L2 is definitely the lightest semi auto. IMO it is the best looking and coolest because of the modularity. But I have not seen any decent 100 yard groups from an L2. From my understanding it is a badass gun for 50 yards and under.

The huben on the other hand is proven out to 100.

The Hatsan Invader is claimed to be 8.2lbs

I'm sure it will easily hit 100yards. But i dont know what the grouping looks like. There are very few youtube vids on the gun tho.

They have a few refurbished models in rightnow.. Act fast as they do move quickly.

My Air Arms Ultimate Shooter in .25 has a weight with its scope of 9.8 lbs and this rifle has the factory moderator attached. To got light one should be going with a carbine like the Kral Puncher with synthetic stock and a weight sans scope of 5.75 lbs or less than 8 lbs with a scope.

Sorry for the delay. For some reason I’m not getting email notifications from this thread.

I think 6-7 pounds with a lighter scope is about as good as it gets….

The L2 long has only a 13.5 inches barrel, and although short barrels don’t necessarily mean less accuracy at longer yards, the 100 yards may be a stretch?
