What is the best bigbore?

I would like to try the bushbuck. But how is the customer service and is there a lifetime warranty? Also do you know of anyone who has a used one for sale for a decent price and or possible trade for Airforce Texan and other PCP rifles

Those guns are not mass produced and made for pure performance. I know Airguns Of Arizona sells them, they may take trades. Probably call and ask.

I buy a used 45 texan..really badly leaking..I take out the bottle used a wrench dismantle the valve give a good cleaning some silicone grease 5 minutes later shooting good as new...I don't think any other valve will be fixed that fast for a average joe... there's is something for everyone..if you don't like Texans to "longs " you have the pile driver .. if don't like tactical you have PBA or Bushbuck..great stocks adjustable triggers..or if you need to have the most expensive one you could buy AAA..it depends on the use..I would never buy a $3000 pcp only to say I have one that's ridiculous..but if you hunt n dont like the bulldog n it has to be a bull pup then AAA is the option, i buy what makes me happy to shoot. I dont buy things to impress no body .3k buy me a texan, scope , compressor , tank, maybe another used gun...I had many friends tha had to have the absolute best to show others..they are broke , me I started mi 3 business 2 years ago..invest first play later..😁

I got my 50 cal Texan yesterday when the big brown truck swung around work.

Charged up in short time and put up a four by four in front of a 60lb bale of hard packed rags.

Well lets just say that now i owe my boss a new Makita angle grinder :)

Man that gun delivers both power and grins.

I see a ton of fun in my near future with this "tool".

I saw Mr. Hollowpoint test the Hammer 50 and it got two shots from 4500psi to 2500psi. That gun (and the Piledriver) will be a one shot per fill gun from a standard 4500psi tank pretty fast. Unless you fork over some serious $$$ for a booster that can fill to 4500psi in the field.

Dont forget the piledriver 45 and 50 cal. 700 to 800 ft lb. When it comes to power, even the mighty texan failed to compare to the piledriver. As for customer service, I've deal with hatsan service many time and they are helpful in replying to email and sending parts for free if under warranty.

Do we have a reputeable test on youtube???

Not just some manufactor claims.

The Umarex Hammer went from 800+fpe to a modest 705fpe as soon as they started to leave the factory and people could do their own testing/measurement. Hope the Piledriver will fare better!

We all know that the Texan will deliver 800+fpe from a 3625psi fill.

Forgot to ask: Whats the fill pressure for those high $$$ and high output airguns?

I suspect that they are all 4500psi fill to get those fine numbers and thus need a booster (mucho dineros and a few dollars too) in the field.

An Altaros with a conversion kit + regulator (the cheapest alternative) will set you back close to $1100 and the American alternative Ayrtekk is more than $1550.

Food for thought.

Note that he fills after every shot to get some decent results and he uses a booster.

For some unforseen reason this site wont let me quote youtube clips with advanced timelines so please spool to @10:30 and observe.

As the man says: If you want to shoot all day at the range or in the bush you got to have a booster.

Extreme big bore guns ,,, beauty ,, power,,an durability

Power? A 457 texan makes more power on 3000 psi then a extreme makes on 4500 psi. 4500 psi is not practical at all.

Exactly why I didn’t buy a .40 caliber rifle that needed 4500 psi to get its advertised power.

I love my .257 Texan because I can shoot all day long on my big tank, and still make 160+ fpe. Throw in one of my DAQs in .458 or .58 and I need two big tanks or more to shoot for a few hours, and that’s filling to 3300 to 3600 psi. I now carry a 12v compressor to extend my shoots with big bores.

Xtreme big bore is a dedicated great finished hunting tool...not a plinking gun I think they are awesome for their intended purpose...and they new laminated stock looks awesome to ... if they build something in .257 and 308 with better air capacity and a 3600 psi fill..that could be my next plinking gun...if the speed where something like....257 95g at 950fps and in.308 --- 135g at 950 to ... at $1400 n looking that good it will be a blast..to have them.
