What have you done with your airgun today?

Removed the OEM check piece from my Akela and I’m going to give these Picatinny indexing clips a try.

Needed to find a spot in my 5’x 9’ gun room to mount my LCS to. The room is pretty packed as it was designed and set up for reloading. I finally found the best spot to mount it, right on the wall behind the gun vise that my impact is nestled in.

Now I got the two cousins next to each other, and ones bantering about how accurate he is over the other, while the other is bragging about being able to throw more lead downrange!

Tried out my amazon prime special bipod on my Fusion 2. Worked great. Now I can actually sit up straight instead of hunching down to the table I've been using as a bench. Also added some picatinny rails for the bipod and a few other items.

Also mounted up the prototype for my own barrel-shroud-mounted picatinny rails that I designed and 3D printed out of PETG. I was originally going to design a whole iron sight system I could 3D print, but then realized I could buy some cheap iron sights off Amazon and just add the rails to the barrel shroud. SO MUCH EASIER. I also plan on replacing the original scope mounting rings with something that is quicker to remove so I can use the iron sights. Hmm... I wonder if I could sell these shroud mounts as a kit for the Fusion 2?

As for why, I say "Why not!" haha. Actually, its because sometimes, I just like to use iron sights. Its just a mood thing.

Before anybody says anything, yes, I know the rails kinda interfere with the CO2 chamber. I already plan on using a shorter version, since it will just be for an iron sight.

Got some bling in for my Umarex Fusion 2, so naturally I through it on.

New quick detach scope mount, picatinny iron sights, and shoulder strap rings. (Not a fan of "quick detach" lanyards.)

Surprisingly, the iron sights lined up very well with the scope. Both need sighted in of course, but no interference between the iron sights and the scope.

Oh, you're in trouble.

Buy lots of PETG in the colors you want. It's great for prototyping. Just have to remember to temper it after a print so it's stronger.

I just got done testing the 3D printed picatinny rail for mounting iron sights on my Fusion 2. I was landing all my shots with a quarter once I had it dialed in. Then I knocked the front sight out of alignment. Grrrrrr!

I know I’m in trouble. LOL!

Already spent hours watching fusion 360 tutorials and prototyped at least10 different variations of moderator baffles/inserts in fusion 360 and the slicer program, my printer isn’t even here yet. Octopi with camera are setup and ready to go……yeah, this is already bad! Even my son has picked out enough ready to print things for days! With 10 filament spools in route I need to setup a print farm at the current rate! 😅
