What have u shot this year with air rifles?

2 collard doves a few weeks ago. Fed them to the cat.

10 jackrabbits yesterday while I took a short drive through the scrub brush. Jacks are breeding around here at this time and they are much easier to hunt. 1 fill on the P-rod and two magazines each filled twice. The last one, I hit 3 times but the tank pressure was too low to knock him down for the count. Had to finish him with a tire iron. There was no doubt about the first 9. Best one was on the run crossing at 27 yards. Into his neck and out the opposite eye. I missed the next few shots from over confidence. Left those for the coyotes.

Just got my new FX Wildcat .25 to help thin out the ground squirrels in my friends citrus orchard. Hawke 4x16x50 scope on top. So far i love this gun. I zeroed it at 40 yds since I dont get many long shots, longest so far is 80 yds. Its been raining a lot here in Southern CA so the squeaks as we call them havent been out a lot like when its warmer and sunny. Trying to thin the herd before they have babies, they chew on the orange and grapefruit tree roots and their tunnels collapse trees sometimes. Im shooting from an ameristep pop up blind, the squeaks are pretty skittish from the owners dogs that roam the property. I have a monopod shooting stick i use when I still hunt outside the blind.

30 yards head shot off bag .22 Gamo Spring Underlever. This one quivered a few seconds. One before this one slightly better shot placement, dropped like a stone. My garden is much safer this year. Looking forward to my first PCP.
