In this society, most people don't realize as humans, we are top predators. I remember watching a show years ago about kids in school didn't know where milk came from and they were shocked to find out milk came from cows.
In the article, they were worried about having to spend thousands of dollars on feeding the rabbits instead of money going to the homeless and vets. When I saw the hundreds of bunnies in video, I saw meat for their soup kitchens. Meat for their mobile food trucks for vets.
There are to many people who think they are doing a good thing by trying to feed these rabbits but they are the ones causing the problem.
They think they have problem but I think they have a blessing.

I wonder what has to go wrong in someone's life to make them start an organization that is focused on "raising awareness" for feral bunnies. 

He's not even doing anything to actually help his furry friends. He actually started an organization that literally does nothing except complain about the lack of tax-payer's money spent on rabbits. 

If I lived near there, I would be tempted to buy one of those air ordinance smg 22's. There aren't many scenarios that make me think "air machine gun" but that it most definitely one that does.

Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from Aldo Leopold's "A Sand County Almanac".

"There are two spiritual dangers in not owning a farm. One is the danger of supposing that breakfast comes from the grocery, and the other that heat comes from the furnace."
