I noticed that nobody seems to carry the walnut stock version anymore, and Daystate’s own website is only showing it as available in synthetic and laminate stocks with no mention of the walnut stock. Was the walnut edition a limited production run model?

AOA has 1 Oro model left in .177. It has walnut stock and a limited production of 200, match trigger blade and gold plated gauge plate. I can’t find any thing else about walnut any more either although it is still listed in Daystate’s Edition XVII Catalog.

I was lucky enough to pick up a used Pulsar .22 with the walnut stock from Jim at Precision Airguns a few months ago……a beautiful rifle but have likewise not seen any of the walnut versions around for awhile.  The laminate may be a nice substitute.

Batman had an exquisite one he sold in the classifieds a few months ago.

Lucky you! I was seriously considering the walnut pulsar before deciding to go with the Hatsan Gladius. I’m really intrigued by the Air Arms Galahad which will be available in walnut or synthetic and should be coming out shortly.

My estimation is availability in about 2 weeks for the Galahad.

That sounds funny. It reminds me of the IT help desk guy in my old job called Jesus. People would say things like “ask Jesus to fix the printer”. Made me laugh every time.
