What Happened to Ted ?

I love Ted’s videos and look forward to them. If I ever make it to EBR I would love to meet him and pick his brain. I’m thankful for his input into our hobby. 

Growing up with an RX and a R10 in the 80’s, I always thought 50 yards was “really out there” for an air rifle. Then, that’s when I saw Teds videos of him popping off pigeons at a110 yards, with wind lead and distance drop all calculated. It was at that point I said I needed a pcp.



still shooting at 40 yards, though, lol. One day I’ll be as good as Ted.

My favorite video is when he pops a pigeon at some industrial place, using an FX Boss, at like 80 yards in an incline, then pulls out I believe a peach and chomps on it like it was just another day out in the sun, having fun. 

Hey, off topic for a sec, and I apologize. Since we are talking of ted as an awesome video producer and an inspiration, I’m curious if Hunter1 competes at EBR? Just curious. He, too, is another inspiration

I agree, Ted's videos got me into air gunning. I found his and Matt Dubber's approach to air gun videos refreshing as opposed to mundane recording. They look to promote air gunning on an intellectual level and are willing to question beliefs that have been slowing down the advancement of air gunning. The work that goes into making their videos is under appreciated. Using scope cameras, high speed video, adding drone footage, video editing, scripting, planning. While some people merely record a video, they created videos that reflected the heart and soul that went into them. Meanwhile, YouTube starts demonitizing/banning them because of a bunch of sjw trolls who want to ruin everyone's fun just because their own lives are empty and meaningless. If we supported the people who are successful at promoting our sport better we will benefit. But if we try to find faults in those people and try to put them down, you're not only hurting them, you're hurting yourselves.

PCP world won't get rich based on my purchases, i started in 2010, and still shoot my Marauders, i still enjoy it but have so much going on that it is just another hobby that i enjoy.

But I think Paul from some air gun show and Ted, both provided me with good info and in an entertaining way.

Whatever he is doing, wish him the best.

I would like to ask the moderator to close this thread all I wanted to know was why Ted changed guns at the EBR and it has turned into a bash Ted thread. I never say anything bad about someone unless I say it to their face. One thing I was taught in the USMC keep your opinions to yourself and do your job the best you can. Also I was taught a person doesn't talk behind someone's back you talk to their face like a man.

Ted I am sorry this turned into a negative Ted thread that wasn't my intention I was just curious as to the gun change at EBR . You have a great day and enjoy your family.

And yet you ask for opinions....as in asking what happened to Teddy on a public forum, the only one that really knows is old Teddy himself and you will not get a truthful answer out of him.

I guess some people just look at the title first and post things that are irrelevant and not even read the first post.
