What happened? Why are you selling your “Good”/ Best Scope?

Just this week, I handed off a brand-new scope (never mounted) to someone and told them to try it out, see if they like it, and if they don't, just give it back. It is a cheaper scope, but ot has some nice features and some decent lenses for the price. I did this because I am working on a "project gun" that I became more picky about than I originally intended, and I sprung for a better-quality scope before I had a chance to use the other.

I used to think that "a good cheap scope is fine." Until I had the opportunity lately to look through several high-quality scopes, and I am quickly finding myself rotating the "cheap" stuff out of my inventory in lue of nicer optics. There's technically nothing wrong with what I am offloading, it's just that I have a scope-bug that I am chasing at the moment.
