What gauge do I believe?

Have four different PCPs and fill all four from Joe Broncocno Great White. The Great White has 2 gauges to read. Only one of the four rifles usually almost always matches what the Great White gauges show for fill pressure. The other 3 can be as much as 30-40 bar different. I don't want to fill to max anyway but could be losing potential shots on a low fill when I thought it was a full fill. Your thoughts.

Maybe its circumstance but when filling the tank the pressure gauge on my Air Venturi matches the one on the Great White.

Make a mental note how off the gun manometer is after filling and put a nail polish dot where that full mark needle should point to. I don't fill anything past 200 bar anyway no matter what the max pressure rating is for any gun. Less stress on the seals and regulators work way better and reliable when guns are filled to MAX of no more than 200bar and under.

I would agree with these guys always believe the one that reads the highest and mark it until you know different. One of the gauges on my Impact was 40 bar off so I got two new Huma gauges one of the new ones was twenty bar off. So, I used the good Huma and the good FX gauge to get as close as I could to the tank pressure gauge which at the time agreed with my compressor gauge.

An extra 40 bar or 580psi in some guns could cause valve lock. Hopefully that is as far as it would go.

Next time you have your tank filled you should ask Joe to check the accuracy of the gauge you have on your tank. That way you have a 'known good' reference to work off of.

Edit: 😆 I just realized you were not local to Joe. Yes seeing that at least one of your other gauges reads the same as the tank gauge I would tend to believe those two are most correct, at least until you can compare to a know good gauge.
