what fx should I buy

Torn between bobcat, impact, and royal 500. all .25 cal I'm a hunter first but love watching tight groups form on paper. I'm also newer to pcp so tuning is not my strong point. I want a gun that I can take out for a day of rabbit and or squirrel hunting and not need to refill I think all 3 of them can do that would the impact be worth the extra money if I don't know how to tune it just looking for opinions and any first hand experience y'all may have

I have a bobcat, Impact, and a boss (of course it .30 not .25cal). I love them all.

The Bobcat is heavy, 80shoot/ fill. It nice on target shooting. If I go on the hunt, I will need the tripod. Even though with the heavy weight, but the feel of the gun make it become the gun to go all the time.

The Impact is more complicated and fun gun, a lot of shoot per fill, too. It definitely lighter than the Bobcat. They are both accurated for me. You can chance the caliber in the future if you want to add more to your collection.

A lots of members here are really happy with their Royal 500 as well.
I hope it help you a little bit :)

Biggest problem for me is I haven't had a chance to put my hands on any of them and I been looking at the impact reviews and specs so much I don't remember the specs on bobcat are all bobcats regulated I not sure of the difference between the bobcat and the bobcat mk2 im starting to eliminate the royal 500 because of its length will the bobcat have a power wheel?

I was going to point you towards the Royale but, then I read about the hunting aspect. It is a long rifle at 46.5" which makes it seem heavier than it is and could be challenging in the woods. Of your 3 choices the Bobcat seems like it might be the best choice. Decent size, a bit heavy, extra magazines can be carried in the stock. The Impact is a tuners delight but, if you don't want to tune at all, then it's hard to justify that aspect. The Impact is ~3/4 of a lb lighter than the Bobcat. So, if weight is a major concern, that might steer you towards the Impact. A bottle generally will give you more consistent shots per fill. The Impact has a lot going for it.
I generally try not to do this but... I'd like to toss in 2 other FX rifles, for you to consider, that might fit your needs...
FX Wildcat - It's very light, accurate, and comfortable to shoot. You'll get ~40 consistent shots per fill. You can pick up a magazine holder for it on Ebay that will allow you to hold 3 loaded spares, or you can reload the magazine while it's in the rifle. It's very quick and ergonomic to cycle to the next round for a quick follow up shot. Mine has become my go-to rifle for pest control and some competitions.
FX Streamline - It is based off the Royale but, is almost 2 lbs lighter and almost 10" shorter stock. I'd recommend adding a couple sections ($25 ea) to the moderator for sound so, let's call it 41-42". Regulated, low price, traditional styling. I can only speculate (mine's a .22) ~40 consistent shots per fill in .25. Turn a wheel for large pellet speed adjustments. Fine tuning can also be performed pretty easily.
With all FX rifles, the Synthetic stock is the way to go if you want light weight.
Sorry to throw 2 more in the mix for you but, I felt compelled to do so. The biggest downfall to the ones I mentioned would probably be shot count.
Happy shopping!

Mine is Bobcat MK2, it comes with standard regulator. 2 powers adjusted!!!
Like Tom said, the wildcat will be lighter, but won't have the power wheel adjuster. It is really nice gun as well...
You will be hook either way with FX, I have number 4 coming is the Steamline .25...
if u are in no rush then, FX lover will chime in. I'm sure u will find the one fit u.
Good luck!!!

Sean,
I have been shooting my Impact for about 6 months now and I absolutely LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have ran about 2000 pellets through it and it has operated flawlessly. If you choose the Impact just make sure you read the small manual 3 times and understand what you can and can not do!! Misuse of this high tech rifle will damage certain components. For every negative comment you read about an Impact there are thousands of owners who are super happy with this gun. It really is a Ferrari and if you use it like a Ford and do not understand the in and outs of its basic workings you will have a failure.
