What does Diana 34 compare to in power?

Not sure about the others you mention. My 34 specs.

With average weight pellets it will shoot at about 14 fpe. That's in the 850 fps range. To be honest that's just about ideal for a small game rifle in .177. This is because most pellets made for field use shoot more accurately around that speed. The Model 34 is an exceptional value at its price point. There are plenty of folks here who own one. I highly recommend them as a first rifle.

Faster out of the box in .177cal than an HW95 but not faster after tuning. I have had 750fps with Vortek tune and seal in an HW95 22cal. I have an HW85 22cal that I am getting ready to put a Vortek kit and seal in it and I bet money it will do at least 750 with a 14.3 grain pellet and probably 770 fps. That barrel on the HW85 is just as long as the RWS 34. I have never seen a tuned 34 or otherwise attain that speed.

There really isn't much point putting a moderator on a spring rifle. I just put one on a model 36 which is the same power plant as the 34. I don't use it. There isn't enough difference to make it worth while. If you are that noise sensitive stick to a PCP with a moderator.

I should add a heavier pellet will usually quiet down a spring rifle.
