I don't mean to bust into your thread and hope you don't mind just wanted to share that I have a Quackenbush 58cal pistol it's a hoot to shoot and accurate to 3 shots on a 3300psi fill shooting a 283 grain round ball at 560fps.

No offense taken Bowhunter. Au contraire, happy to see your Maxi-Blaster. Looks like your's has a couple inches longer barrel than my .50, so makes great sense to carbine it. Ever hunt medium to big game with it? I hope to someday hunt hogs with mine, but would go for a brain/spine shot.Â

No Sir I haven't taken any game with it yet, I took it with me deer hunting last season but never had a chance to use it I have it sighted in to 50yds but I'm limiting myself to a 25-35yd shot. I'm hoping to get a 25 and 50 DAQ pistol to finish out my collection as I now have the 9mm and 45 also.
