What do you guys think about this FFP SCOPE?

I have a Discovery VT-T 6-24x50, which was my FFP Scope. I don’t think I will go back. For $270 you can't go wrong.

Seems like you've sold 6 of them, and all anyone has to do is look at the replies you have made to see it's apparent you have an "interest" in Discovery scopes.

Maybe you should consider paying for advertisement on AGN?

I have looked into FFP scopes and have been scared away from them due to the fact that at low power the reticle is small. All the scopes I have currently are SFP and most are CVLife 4-16X44 AOL. I do like them for the 50$ Amazon price, especially since they are on PCPs that I seldom need to shoot past 100 yards with. Two other scopes that I recently purchased on Amazon were a Discovery 5-20X50 side parallax adj for 170$ it also is SFP. I unfortunately am sending it back due to the “Hawk” style reticle being to fine for my old eyes to see as well as the I Phone 7 camera doesn’t pick the up that well. The other recent purchase is a UTG 4-16X40 with side parallax adjustment and it has a supposed 36 color reticle. Can’t comment on the color amounts, not having good color vision, but it is a hell of an improvement over the CVLife scopes as is the Discovery. Both of these have way better turret dialing and barely any lag in adjustment. The CVLifle scope, when dialing windage and elevation have serious lag time often before the crosshairs, mil-dot, start to move and make me wonder if that’s why the guns they are on have to be re-zeroed occasionally. If I made videos and shot at distances like Matt Dubber and other of his caliber, had a gun with sub MOA capabilities, I would look for a higher end scope. FFP seems to be more effective at a greater distance than SFP. A larger reticle on a far away target, especially a small one, might get covered up by the larger reticle of a SFP scope where as the FFP reticle would be more in line with the magnification and the target. Everyone is different when it comes to scopes and the best advice given may not be the best for your particular needs. Like these fine people have said” try it out if you don’t like it you can always sent it back.

... i'm kinda of the same opinion as joewaynerhea on your ffp scope find..... the cheaper ffp plane scopes crosman (centerpoint) was offering might not hold well on a hard recoil springer , and the crosshairs became too big and thick to see the little pellet-sized black sharpee dots on the white us.postal boxes i (clandestinely) use as targets - large priority mail shipping boxes retrieved in the night been working great for years ..... but yours is etched on glass reticle and the cool christmas tree arrangement of crosshairs , like a hawke airmax.... i still have one of the first ffp 30mm side focus scopes i'd ever seen , so sun optics let me demo it on my .22 jim shockey steel eagle np2 rifle - they retailed over $500 then , but these are made in a chinese factory that DOES HAVE a good clean room (for optics assembly, nitrogen filling the scopes, and sometimes making higher quality glass than my ffp from crosman centerpoint (a factory down the street from the higher quality and standards optics assy place)... that one you found looks pretty sturdy from here , tho.... please share about that one after you get some 'zen' time with it -- especially at dusk .. - paul .
