What Discovery scope for my HW97kt .22

Ok all your gonna get tired of my questions,

Ive been using a 3-9 32 bug buster, and almost went with a 3-12 bug buster,,but i want a big boys scope

I want to whack chippies and squirrels, at 8-20 yards, and target practice out to 50-75

I want to get a wide area around chippie

and then

I want to be able to power up to see chippies head, and go for an eyeball, (eating at my feeder) they become chicken food

what Discovery scope do you recommend from airgun optics plus?

thanks

John

The HS 4-14x44 HS FFP MIL Dot scope is a nice light first focal plane scope with a great reticle. Nice and bright!

I like it though it doesn't have illuminated reticle. Seems to me your desire to shoot different distances, would make a first focal plane handy, especially if you like zooming in. That way you can zoom however you want and only have to keep track of your holdover or hold under.

Hope you don't mind me sharing some of the Discovery scopes I've got here. Not trying to take business from anyone else, just sharing options.

I've got the HS on a pretty good price I think, for around $203 shipped

The HD line is great if you've got the extra money, illuminated reticles and really great glass. I've got quite a few of them, though I just sold all four hd 3-18x50 I had left in one day, so need to reorder more of those.

The VT-T line is great for the money! I've got some VT-T 6-24x50 FFP and VT-T 4.5-18X44, both in the $220-230 range.

Have you looked at vector scopes at all? I have a Vector Tourex 6-24x50 that is every bit as clear as the Discovery scopes and is first focal plane, and I found it the clearest of all for being able to zoom in at close range. It has illuminated reticle as well. Very nice for the money! It's $269, but cheaper than some of the HD discovery scopes and just as good imo. It has an MOA reticle, so handy for those using yards instead of meters.

Anyway, whatever Discovery scope you get wherever you get it, or Vector, I think you'll be happy with them!

Cheers,

Wes
