What did you shoot today?

My Compatto .22 at the dairy...

Three grackles and one English sparrow with 3 shots from the HW80 .22. Sparrow was behind #2 grackle, never saw him. I put that Leupold EFR back on the rifle for good.

I shot an oak 2x2 till I drilled a hole through it. It is/was a tree stake at about 60 yards. That took a lot of pellets and air but I was on a mission! 

Nothing fun....



Installing molding to finish the new basement floor. AKA the indoor range. Glad you guys got some trigger time.

Just as I do about everyday when the weather is not inviting to shoot my pcps outdoors, I shot my AA TX200, my .177 and .22 Weihrauch 97s, my .22 Weihrauch HW77K Special Edition, and my Diana 56 TH, all shot in my indoor range at my RX Targets.

Been too windy for outdoor shooting so I broke out some CO2 BB guns for some indoor fun at 10yrds.

Raptor went hunting today...pests were surprisingly easy to hit today as they really didn’t move much.

Streamline and Royale both at 100 yards. Then I grabbed sticks and went on a steel egg hunt out to 65 yards with the Royale. Super fun and satisfying!

My FX400 with 580cc bottle. I checked my Strelock charts and they are spot on. 11 1/2 moa up to 84 yards worked perfect.

Had some starlings trying to get into my chimney cap. This happens every spring and I wind up with a few in my wood burner stove in the family room. So I thought this year I’ll nip it in the butt with my Crown and .22 Hades. They were too spooky to to get on the chimney but flew out to a tree top around 60 yards where they thought they were safe. Wrong ! Nailed them both with 2 shots. This time of year I’m at war with black birds, starlings, grackles or cowbirds. It doesn’t matter, get them before they nest. The squirrels are out of season and are mating so I’m giving them a pass to have their pups. More to get this fall. I don’t shoot ground hogs in the spring either but let them have their young then once they are weened it’s game on.

I have a chicken feed block 40 yards out for the birds and squirrels to feed on. I was watching the cardinals on it when suddenly they took off. 4 starlings landed. Not on my watch.

Went to the garage where the .177 HW100 BP-K permanently resides on the bench, and placed a Polymag short in one of their heads. The others scattered and the cardinals are back.

Today's selection. It arrived around noon. Diana 430L in .177. Shooting 10.3g AA pellets at 30yd. The 12 and 2 o'clock fliers were me.

My wife insisted I buy 3 reactive Steelplinker shoot to reset targets from AoA. One, the dove was backordered, but the rabbit and squirrel are in my yard. I had fun shooting them with my .22 350mm Leshiy.
