What are your thoughts on Daystate Wolverine 2 R

"Hookster"Just wish it had a bottom rail. With such a high price point on these guns and yet you have to drill into a stock is crazy. The options to keep the stock clean if you didn't want to use the rail exist too. Sometimes this market makes me want to start my own PCP company and design a gun that has features we all want. I think an industry slam dunk is just hanging out there and the company that actually listens to it's customers and reads some of these posts could make a lot of money.

What would be cool is to have threaded inserts, maybe 2 or 3, underneath the front forend to bolt on maybe a proprietary picatinny rail section long enough for a bipod attachment or pistol light. Maybe one of those bolt inserts could accept a machine threaded sling stud for those that want to use a Harris Bipod having that option available. The problem I see is that the last 2-3 inches towards the front of the forend closest to the CF bottle is too thin. I understand they're keeping with aesthetics. So far, I believe the only option is to install a sling stud on the thickest area of the forend which is located where the throat of the bottle is located. I believe AOA can install the sling stud for you when you purchase the rifle so it's on them if they screw up the install. Not sure if other airgun companies offer this service as well.

I will echo what others have said about the “R”. I love mine. I have about 500 pellets through it so far in the 2 weeks I’ve owned it. Nothing but pellet on pellet accuracy and 100% consistency every time I take it out of the safe. The shot count is great and cocking action is perfect in my opinion. I’ve only been able to stretch mine to 40 yards so far but hopefully will be able to put some groups down at 100 this week.

I gave you a positive vote for your last comment so hopefully that evens you back out. Lol. In response to your question, someone mentioned on my Wolverine thread that there was actually some adjustability of the HST using an Allen key if you remove the rifle from the stock. I can’t confirm or deny this since I haven’t had the urge to change anything. This rifle almost shoots itself it’s so darned consistent and accurate. I’ll check the adjustment tonight if I get a sec.

Thank you, that's really all I was asking. Beautiful guns no doubt.
