What Airgun would you want to have after Complete Economic & Social Collapse?

I find it humorous but have to admit I have thought the same thing haha. I will play a little. 😂

Mine would be more along the lines of small crossman , small caliber, and whisper quiet lol. I would have to say a crossman pistol build for sure self pumping air pistol. from wally or P.A. . for less than a hundred fifty whole package and extra orings and such . I want to be mobile and silent . when I shoot small game as not to make a big seen or take to much time prepping things (Stealth). smaller more abundant ammo and mobile and quiet is my key goal here. lol

It sure would not be my impacts or crowns in larger calibers haha. Just my take on it lol.

FN-FAL air will not do

Kind of what I'm thinking. Anything that feeds reliably with 7.62x61/5.56x45/7.6.62x39... If there is a social collapse, I want to be able to punch through any with bad intention that cross my path.

But to stay within the topic, I out to be ok with my 177

- Powerful/accurate enough to dispatch hares and quails and put food (snacks) on the table.

And if I was going to use this as an excuse to buy something. It would probably one of the FX airguns that can be fitted to fire arrows

Keep it simple so a Hatsan 135 .30 cal break barrel and these slingshots.

Air will work fine. I pick them over powder burners. A .30 with 70ft/lbs will do a squirrel up to a deer, if you get close enough. I think three 300bar fill pumps on hand will do. or an Indy. In the Walking dead Ammo is getting more and more scarce. Air is plentiful, and if you have stack of 8 tins will help me weather the storm for a year or two. Then if you have a pellet mold it would be indefinite. Plus, silence will be important in the near future.

About arrows, they are always getting damage. Every year I need to buy more. I don't think arrows will work as good as Darrel uses them in TWD. So, I would stay away from arrow gun unless they can be changed arrow barrels can be changed out.

LOl i agree on the arrow thingy. hence the reason I would need the small harpoon/ gig projectiles to attempt some shallow water fishing with the cord. This way I can figure out how many low power pumps to get penetration and still be quiet. So I am not shot by one of the fellows who wants some fish but forgot they could just ask me in a polite way and I am happy to share. haha! 😋

My leshiy with my hand pump is looking pretty good right now, 350mm barrel Donny 1/2 by 20 and ronin in .25 shooting 34s @530fps dern quiet, small and worse case senecio I can use it as a club but if I had to hoof it a Crosman pump pistol or a springer of some sort . My hw30 .... and a bag of bird seed gonna get some dinner woot woot

lol that's using your noggin 😉😂

Huben K1 , Huben hand pump, Huben swagging kit and or MP mold.

power enough to bring down game, and dissuade two legged rats.

Ironically the covid19 outbreak has prevented me from getting the 2020 .25 K1, as production has been put back.

On the Huben situ, A big thank you to Kelly Schmidt of Kraz Cool Air Guns, who despite knowing that I could not be a customer, took time to reply to an email I sent him.

Gentleman you are Kelly👏.

( Joke) ==Well I guess my game or turn is over as I feel deep inside me I have already been shot by one of the fellows who did not play by the rules and wanted my fish but forgot he could just ask and I would have shared it happily , haha lol and eliminated me on the creek bank. Good luck to the rest of you I was not stealthy enough haha 😋. My turn is over later all👊

Reminds me of a story that my gramps told. The Hobo's would soak corn in Gin and feed it to the geese until one of them was too drunk to fly away. Dinner time!
