What accuracy can one expect from the right slug?

Yes I wish I had the want or patience to shoot that card too. However I seriously doubt it would satisfy you C'cut.

You're a grown man shooting pellet guns and have developed quite the ego doing so. Posting selfies and pics of Team C'cut t-shirts? The Arena jive and telling everyone what hole in hole means and how many shots groups should have ect. And cant forget the. 😉

I often wonder why you are the only "EBR Champion" who carries himself this way? Things that truly make you go hmmmm...

I understand that winning EBR that day means the world to you and you seem to want to attack anything that might take away from it. So from now on I will do my best not to post any of my results. I'll just keep up what I'm up too. Pretty lame to go through this for simply posting my results but it's a pretty lame world these days. No worries.

I wish you the absolute best of luck Centercut. I hope you win EBR and RMAC year after year. Hopefully Daystate will notice your skill and bring you on as a full time tuner or designer. Maybe even their shooting team leader or like an Ernest Rowe of Daystate. If there is anything I can do to help you out along the way please just shoot me a PM.✌

Thanks. Appreciate the offer. Feel free to post whatever you like, that’s what grown men do on this forum. You’re certainly entitled to your opinion, I can respect that. Grown men normally aren’t as passive aggressive as you seem to be, but it takes all kinds, and courage is easy to find sitting behind a keyboard.

Hopefully you can get your accuracy to where you strive to be... It seems I’ve somehow really gotten under your skin, and I apologize for that. I think shooting two-ish inch 5 shot groups at 200 yards is pretty damn amazing actually. None of my guns can consistently do that. I understand the time and effort you put into yours...

Please don’t forget Swish, you started this with your cynical “Even Centercut? Lol”. Up to that point I had said nothing even mentioning you In this topic. Jealousy and envy are such ugly emotions. You have no reason to be jealous, I’m not that great of a shot. You have no reason to be envious, anyone can compete at EBR or RMAC, and with your obvious skills you’d do well...

Half inch in 22 at 100 yards 920-930fps Nielsen 22 grain no power plenum slug liner from last year pre superior version. 2 inch at 200 yards in perfect conditions.

Have not tested any of my Impacts in 25s yet due to lockdown but I have a variety of Nielsons in 25 already.

I'm beginning to believe only a few of us are able to get good results with slugs.

Every time I ask how far out shooters are able to maintain a MOA with slugs it goes quiet...

Lots of talk about caliber, weight, BC, and even terminal balistics but almost nothing on long range accuracy.

Sounds like Yo can maintain MOA out to 200 yards. I'm currently at about 3/4 and damn close to 1/2 MOA at 200 yards. That's 5 shot groups in 1-2 mph wind.

Nothing personal guys, but pics or this is BS. MOA with an airgun at 100 or 200 yards is nothing but luck still at this point. Even Centercut has said the same thing in a different thread.

I am the only one that posts my crappy groups. Lol

I am going to try a bunch of pellets this week, so be ready for some bad groups at 25 yards haha. 1/2” at 100 or 200 yards? Nope I will be at 2” at 25 yards probably until I find a new pellet other than JSB (having issues with supply).

There are a limited amount of airguns that are capable of shooting decent groups at 200 yards. From those limited brands and specific models not all will do it depends on the particular gun and if that barrel is an exceptional one. You can own 20 of the same guns in the same caliber and be lucky to have one that's a winner and the rest average 1" - 1.5" at 100 yards. Also Just because they can do sub or straight consistent MOA at 100 yards doesn't mean the slugs or pellets will still be stable out to 200 yards.

Best to swage your own slugs and pellets because we are at the mercy of slug and pellet makers. With the Corbin you can make in between weights and shapes and you control everything.

I agree YO, i dont think Ive personally seen a production gun, or barrel, shoot slugs better than pellets. I personally believe its the chambering, but thats just me. I cut the the chambers specific for what slug I want to shoot. The fx liners from what ive seen, are not chambered well for slugs. Some slugs if you tilt the gun down will drop away from the probe. Im 2 for 2 on consistently accurate slug barrels that I machined.
