My back has really been bothering me after long shooting sessions, so I picked up a Pork Pie Drum Throne off Craigslist for $80.00. Man, what a difference,it has done the trick, no more back pain. Very comfortable to shoot off of and adjustable.

They,re a little pricey new but many similar, (like Gibratar), are available at a reasonable price.You get what you pay for so watch out for the cheaper ones.

Nice, quality. Used to live near Nashville, the pawn shop had all kinds of useful air gun paraphernalia at great prices ( poor musicians ).
You didn't want to bump up to the "big boy swirl thrown" ?

Gig bag's - sometime $5.00 at pawn shop- protect $1,000 rigs every day/night , no scratchs PADDED, pockets,sometimes they work well for case also.

Glad you got more comfortable ( thought about a custom stock) it does help with all aspects of shooting.

I think that was part of my problem Perry, the chair I used wasn't quite right. I tried other stools and the same. Big difference with the adjustable, and my fat butt likes the cushion top. I shot a good round off it yesterday and attribute it to the fact of being at the correct height to the bench and when I leaned into the gun, the scope was right there.
