Have any of you WFTF guys heard anything about this year’s event in SA? Not much on their website so it looks like they’re playing wait and see re COVID19. Uj

The last official communication I received from the WFTF President (who is also EFTC President) said he was 90+% sure the Euros would be postponed a year and his hunch was Worlds would follow suit. If he turns out to be correct, the US would host in 2022.
This is not official yet, so I did not make a public post, but I did share with registered Worlds shooters and the 2021 hosts.

Hey UJ, due to the unsafe country and high crime, attendance at the SA WFTF shoot was gonna be way less than the organizers of the event were going to hope for. Me along with alot of other guys I know, were not planning on going to Worlds in SA due to crime, etc. As Greg said, it sounds like its just pushed a year cuz of the virus. Fingers crossed we get back to normal soon, but when its safe to do so. BC
