Small one on top was sitting on a low limb facing away. As she was chewing on an acorn, I put a pellet at the base of the skull from behind. Did not exit.
The bigger one at the bottom in photo was on the side of a tree. The pellet entered just below the neck area nicked his spine an pierced a lung. Pellet did not exit.
Hardly any external blood. It was kinda nice when I pinned them to my belt, there was no blood or brain matter dripping down the side of my pants as I walked.
There is huge difference in damage between the 11.5 fpe Sheridan and the 50+fpe Cricket.

That is my 10 year old sons rifle. He wanted an old Sheridan Silver Streak so I purchased it from an old fellow from Washington state. I have a 79' Model C that I purchased new in 1980 with a recently installed Williams peep sight, but it is too dark to see through the aperture while in the woods. Nice for target shooting though.
