Went Bowhunting for deer but ended up pest hunting red squirrels.

I went upstate NY to bow hunt deer but nothing was moving over several days. This was my second weekend sitting in a freezing cold tree stand through rain last week and snow squalls this weekend. My neck was starting to hurt due to the fact that the "unprotected" red squirrels were running amuck around my stand driving me crazy making me look all over the place. Well after my morning hunt on the second weekend I had enough. I went and got my new bantam hi lite 22 cal, loaded up with 18 grain JSB's. I went to my stand and waited for the little buggers. And of course they were no where to be found. But then eventually they started up like little crack heads running around. It was weird shooting down at such a steep angle but I managed to get three. They were at 27 yards 25 yards and 22 yards. I missed one three times at 35 yards probably due to his moving and the angle and another at 47 yards, the pellet landed right at his feet. UGH. I also had a visitor at my tree stand who refused to move. He was too fun to watch and gave him a pass.
